Yeah I waited two days and still nothing . I made this post today out of dissatisfaction. Still nothing . Unable to use smokestack stadium online with competitive dimensions

My take is SDS doesn’t upgrade players until they start getting talked about in the media. See Kendall Graveman, for example.

We’ve had a bunch of discussion about how rl stats relate to attributes in game in my Seager thread, but I think the bottom line is, if baseball media says a player is hot, SDS responds in kind.

Knuckleballs aren't cheese. If you can't hit a slow floating pitch that's on you. Many players destroy knuckleballs. Honestly there's a reason some players build an entire major league career around one pitch that goes 70 MPH 😆

Should Mark DeRosa kindly ask pitchers not to throw sliders? Or you think of a pitcher recognized her couldn't hit it he would throw it?

Also, stealing vs knuckleballers is very effective and also not cheese, in fact, that is the major problem when a Knuckleballer like Tim Wakefield would pitch in real life that guys with wheels would essentially get free passes to 2B.

Don't call things cheese just because you suck. Plenty of decent players crank knuckleballs, especially during the moonshot event.

That record is meh and if you’ve only played 46 games over 3 seasons of ranked then you aren’t playing top quality competition. You might need to hit custom practice yourself

That's a 0.695 win percentage lol... I think 32-14 is pretty good when I spend my entire season in CS in the 800s... Been taking losses trying to crack WS... I don't think there's any Shame in that.

I mean if playing in CS and not cracking WS means you suck, I guess so.

But what I think qualifies as sucking is making a thread to cry about a 42 overall pitcher that throws 70 MPH because you can't hit him. That qualifies as sucking.

Mays historically has a slow swing. If you used him last year or the year before and like him then maybe. Get ready to get busted in constantly with him. Personally the lack of speed and diamond D is a dealbreaker for me in center. Do you though if you enjoy the card use him.

They got better after about a month? Not sure if it was due to improving server stability or a significantly reduced playerbase. The year it went free on PS+ the immediate uptick in players late in the year didn't cause any major issues though. There's server issues like this every year, this year seems especially bad though.

Live series chapman has 65 ctrl on each of his pitches, and then 42 on the 2 seam.

The 97 chapman has 97 ctrl on the 4Seam, 94 on the slider, and then 84 on the sinker.

That alone means the 97 is miles better because better control means less hanging pitches. The sinker has the same break on both cards, the slider gains 3 break on the 97.

The big difference is in the 2 seam.
70 break 69 ctrl on the 97
65 break 42 control on ls

And of course, the ACTUAL change up on the 97.

This is a bad arguement everytime it comes up and I'm about to just save this post to copy paste.

Dude that junk wasn’t that bad. If you need a few hits a game just dashboard if you don’t get them, it restarts the game of the series
