I never even played the dude, he just was real upset that I said 365 days was too harsh of a ban for stadium signs that said "eat booty" and "clappin Dem cheeks" lol

It was my first ban, and I have screenshots from the past few months showing different logos that I've used, and can go back in my game history showing my names/locations. This is the only possible thing that I could have been banned for. SDS completely refuses to look into it, or to reply with any information regarding my ban in any ticket that I have put in.

You know exactly why you were banned. Don’t play stupid. The stuff you mention in your first post is clearly the reason unless you have a guilty conscience of other stuff you did that you know was wrong.

it's really not that serious bro lol.. Something childish that made me and my friends laugh that did no harm to anyone, didn't insult or offend anyone, is worthy of a 365 day ban. I'm not sure if you legit believe that but if you do, that's pretty incredible. I feel sorry for anyone you know IRL.

It must be pretty serious as you are here complaining about your ban. It also sounds like your friends are 12. Children play this game so maybe act like kids are playing this game and not immature clowns. I feel sorry for you. To get banned from a video game. That’s just sad.

If it’s console, then you’re out of MLB the Show for 365 days. Yes, it will affect MLB 22, they’ve console banned you from server access until the expiration date. You’ll be able to play MLB 22 once the ban is lifted.

Edit: at least that was the policy in the past (10 months ago and prior to Xbox inclusion), I could be wrong if they changed policy.

After all this, an answer!! Thanks brother, I appreciate the info. Pretty lame, but I guess lesson learned lol

But I don't agree with that it is SDS fault for not having the words in the filter. At some point, as adults we have to take responsibility for our own poor decisions and stop blaming others for not stopping us from acting on them.

I get what you are saying but I mean eat booty and clappin dem cheeks are not even remotely bad. If he had the N word or something then yeah I could see it being a definite ban, However this is something that could have easily been rectified by removing this persons ability to create custom stuff. I think a ban, especially a year long ban for something that can easily be argued is innocent. SDS may not be able to account for every filter, however they should be more than aware this is the direction some people would take it.

this is really all I'm saying too. I completely understand it being an "inappropriate image". I understand why they would not want it in their game. But a 365 day ban for something that isn't malicious in any way, no curse words etc. It's pretty PG.

For all of the people saying there is no way that THIS is the reason why I was banned, it at least makes me feel like I'm not crazy for being as surprised as everyone else that I got such a major punishment for something so tame.

You said you want SDS to look into it. There’s nothing to look into.

I had asked SDS to reconsider the length of the ban, believing at the time that it was disproportionate to the offense. I understand why I was banned, but I still am allowed to disagree with the punishment. I have accepted the punishment, yet still disagree with the length of time. Does that make sense?

I understand why I was banned.
I accept the fact that I was banned.
I disagree with the length of the ban.
I have come to accept the length of the ban, as there is nothing that can be done to change it.
I am now wondering if it will affect MLB 22.

I completely agree with you. It's 100% my fault for creating the stadium, which is why I've accepted that I've been banned. I'm simply trying to find out if it will affect my ability to play MLB 22 when it comes out.

I'm also convinced that because I went full NMS and was playing on game pass that they were WAY less lenient with the punishment. I don't think if I had bought the game or bought stubs that they would have done a 365 day ban.

Not a new tactic to only tell the lesser violations and leave out the details of the bigger, more egregious violations to try to shift blame on SDS and try to get this forum riled up with anti-SDS messages!

I can guarantee you that there is no bigger, more egregious violation. You're free to go look at my game history and see my history of team names/locations, and I have screenshots over the past 3 months showing my logos.

Of course none of this means anything to you, and I completely understand why you would believe what you do. I would too if it was some random on the internet.
