SDS is smart for rolling out legends a few at a time. If every legend is introduced all at once next year, then who gives a wiener about MLB 21? A huge part of my excitement for 2020 is seeing the new big names added to the game. They’re doing this right imo.

They swept the world series in ’05 that was only 14-15 years ago? And from that time until now only 9 different teams have won the world series, not to mention that 6 teams still have never won a world series in franchise history. They're not in a bad boat, many baseball teams have been worse off lately and the white sox are gonna be really good this year.

He was a Battle Royale reward last year it’s a little different. Only a few hundred to a thousand or so would go 12-0 and get sale compared to around 7-8k+ that will make World Series there will be a much lower cost for him in the community market so if you want him and don’t think you’ll make World Series just save your stubs or sell your boss next inning and snag him.

I was kicked out of a ranked game for routine maintenance, now since it’s been finished I’ve been kicked offline another half dozen times randomly. It was happening while I was looking at cards first then while I was simming conquest games so I restarted my PS4 & it worked long enough for me to do all of the new showdown until it kicked me off while loading up the final matchup against Wood & when I came back it counted as a loss. Very frustrating to lose that progress, my internet speed is at 40mbps & it’s not kicking me off the internet just out of DD sayng I lost connection to the show servers so if someone at SDS could look into this it would be greatly appreciated.

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X you can get repeatable points for earning xp from players in the program so I used Ketel a lot & Billy once I got him. I just checked & I did 7 moments, then the Marte & Wagner missions along with the xp missions at the bottom & then the repeatable one until I finished it.

If you get the companion app then you can put in an order on there & just keep tapping like place order over & over instead of having to retype the amount on the game system.

All of my gifts were baseball related, got a bat case to hold my Altuve autographed bat, a couple of custom made picture frames with baseball cards from different players in astros history and one for rangers history, a bunch of different baseball cards, some special edition looney tunes cards with Griffey Jr., Nolan Ryan, Reggie Jackson, Jim Abott and some others, some 1988-89 unopened topps packs, a some cool rookie cards like a Jason Giambi team USA card from when he was in his first MLB season, many other older players from the 70’s-80’s, and a Randy Johnson Figurne with a card of him.

Do any of you know anything about Wayne Gretzky? I studied him when I was in school, he played baseball at a junior intercounty league and he hit .492 there. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays but he turned down the offer to play Hockey, however his son was drafted and signed by the Chicago Cubs. He would've been a good ball player he was very athletic, smart and skilled in many ways. Maybe not as good as he was at hockey but he could compete.

Different strokes and all that but it's not a farce for everyone. You vote Honus and that's cool but it's not unanimous for Honus. I take Ketel all day and hit better with him over Honus. I take Ketel all day but you don't have to.

If you take Ketel over Honus you're probably not all that great at this game... Or you just don't have Honus at all. Honus is a top 5 overall player in the game, not only is his bat great but his speed and defense outweighs a majority of players in this game especially Ketel. Mr.Marte has been pulled in finest packs and sold 3 times for me and since the 4th time pulled he's got a nice spot in my inventory, where he'll never get an inning of playing time on my God squad. I didn't grind for 4 months to get Ketel haha.

Look at his stats bro, high contact & medium power, just normal swing with him and it should work fine. I got it first try through, try to also pick pitches that can be easily hit down the line or in the gap instead of trying to hit everything.

Yea Honus would be more helpful to your team overall, not to mention you get 50k+ stubs for getting Honus so with that and being able to quick sell any cards that you collected and won't use, you won't be all that far back from getting babe also. Babe is a great player especially hitting wise, but honus is a great hitter too and he adds the speed to it. Plus, Griffey, Belli and Mays hit just as many homers for me as babe does, so you're gonna have a small margin of upgrade on offense with him for a downgrade on defense. If I didn't make WS I wouldn't have spent the stubs to have babe haha.

My MVP for that one was Rick Ainkel, 0 runs on 2 hits through 4 IP and a 2 run bomb haha.

The speeds and the Pci size take a few games to get comfortable with once you switch over from All-Star to HoF but my biggest frustration is that I’ll practically miss a ball on all star with my pci but it’s timed good and it’s a no doubt homer, yet on HoF I’m squaring the ball up perfect and getting the good/good, good/Squared up results for easy outs. It just changes from a hitting duel to a pitching duel once you switch levels.

His stats aren’t gonna put him at a disadvantage against any card. His gold card has low stats and it’s my best player by far, he hits no doubters easily so I’m very excited with this card especially with the 100+ power v righties and his defense being so spectacular is going to be great to cut guys from getting extra bases or scoring on sac flies. They’re trying to be more realistic this year with stats by giving guys their cards based off of what they did during the time of that specific type of card rather than just giving everyone an SS card and making them stacked. This has been more fun to collect and play with so far in my opinion.

He is Free from the XP reward path you just have to get past diamond 100 this year and you’ll go to a prestige level where you can get special rewards including him. & I’m not sure about secondaries, go to my inventory on the game and under Indians flashbacks he will be there and you can check.

I did those saves on the events it was a lot easier. Treinen and Mo are similar in that you have to be able to effectively mix fastballs or you’ll get rocked with them. I was terrible with Rivera so I sold him, doing better with Treinen so far.

I have Ruth, Honus at 2nd, Eddie Matthews at 3rd and Machado at SS.

He’s possibly going to be the only player ever to win the Mvp, Cy young award, Silver slugger, and depending on how Vladdy & Salvy’s seasons end, even possibly the Hank Aaron award. You say a triple crown is impressive, then how about a full award sweep? That’s not the most impressive single season ever to you? & not the best player on his team? Sure, let me see Trout try to hit 50 homers, with 25 swiped bags, and an 11-2 record with a sub 3 ERA against today’s American League. Ohtani would crush trout if he pitched to him, & I bet Trout prays that he never has to hit against Ohtani. Besides Ohtani is younger than trout so he even has more potential to achieve a better season compared to Trout. I love Mike Trout but he’s not the same as Ohtani, Trout is a talent of the decade and will forever be remembered for his quick ascension to greatness. As for Shohei, he’s a generational talent, like a Babe Ruth or Willie Mays. There’s only one that can do what he does, to the full extent of what he does, as great as he does it. & there won’t be another man to recreate his season until your great grandkids have grandkids.
