Feel like such a moron but oh well haha I was like why is everyone being such babies about people using X to swing I don't get it. Now I know they meant O and apparently it has super powers according to the people on these forums

It infuriates me how long and slow outfielders and cut off men are throwing the ball while runners are gaining extra bases. Also cannot stand how every throw home in the green, even when there is no white line to get a perfect throw, ends up on the first base side and the catcher as a result leans right to catch it and never tags out the runner at home if it is a close play.

Same lol I got 2 of the 3 XBHs with Pham in my first game and the 3rd XBH in the 2nd game but I never completed the moment and tried for almost an hour lol

Okay? I did not know the rules are I can only say negative things like that I took forever to do the Pham one and never got it. Not allowed to mention any successes. Thanks for the heads up on the rules you cool person. Must be fun to be around!

Good news. Rest of the moments are easy as usual. I did the Schwarber 4 XBH and 2 HR in literally the first 4 ABs in my first try. Just the Pham one I am just going to give up and move on since it won't matter in the end anyways.

I am power swinging now and still when I get good timing in the PCI its a dud. Dude doesn't even have warning track power its like middle outfield fly outs. I never have issues with moments especially ones seemingly this easy I am embarrassed haha

I never have trouble with moments and all you need is 6 TB and I am having so much trouble with this moment. Anyone else? I hate this card the idea that he apparently has 99 power seems like bs lol

A little bit of observation would see that the strike zone graphic is actually wider than the plate, so it is more of a graphical error than a pitch calling error.

I can't see the plate with the view I use but even if that is true that is still a massive problem that should be fixed

Have you changed your umpire settings to “perfect?” If not, go into settings and try that. Then they call every pitch accurately.

1. I am playing online so you can't do that. And 2. I am not looking for them to be "perfect". But when you paint the edge of the zone it is literally never called a strike. In reality it should be called a strike a good amount of the time since it technically is a strike. In this game, you essentially have to get 50% of the ball or more over the line to get a called strike in this game. That is not how baseball works. SDS devs clearly don't know baseball. It is infuriating imo.

Do they not know baseball? Are they unaware the ball just has to touch the strike zone at all to be a called strike? They don't reward good pitching at all in this game.

Ya it says error logging in. Free 42 series pack for my troubles would be sufficient @SDS

No it shouldn't. A "contact swing" is just a normal swing. A power swing is trying to get something extra at the expense of less contact ability (smaller PCI). I wouldn't define a contact swing as when people choke up with 2 strikes. I would define it as a normal swing.

No a normal swing is normal. Contact is contact. And power swing is power.

So then the game doesn't have a normal swing? That sounds like a massive issue considering it is the norm.

A normal swing is a contact swing. Your standard approach and swing. The power swing is a different approach. Swinging harder than normal to hit a HR.
