Top 4 are Randy, Pedro, Nolan and Grayson for sure. Number 5 is all about personal preference and what skill level you play. Wood has good stuff but questionable control. People like Burnett and Oswalt. I like Glavin over Lee. One guy I have not tried but has shut me down is Finest Cueto.

I agree there is a fairly clear top 4. The fifth can vary for me. I have tried Greinke, Lee, Glavin, Burnett and Oswalt. Want to try Seaver (being a Met fan). Out of that bunch, I like Burnett the best so far.

I only need a few cards from the following series for the Jimmy Rollins collection. I'm hoping it ends up being worth the fuss as I've really been looking forward to getting it until the new Larkin card came out which has filled my need for a true shortstop (was using Chipper before).

2 Takashi Okazaki cards (Mays, Mussina, Honus, Musiel, and Delgado left)

2 Prime cards (Gehrig, L. Walker, Banks, Springer, and Youkillis left)

3 2nd Half Heroes cards

1 Rookie

2 All-Star

1 Postseason

Check to see if any of the awards from the moonshot event can be used to complete 2nd half, rookie, allstar, or postseason. If so, you should be able to buy them for 30K or less. I finished my Rookie and all star collections yesterday for around 300K and I needed a lot of rookie cards. I think there were 8 2nd half cards available. worth a look.

Mays you should be able to get from RS and Honus is affordable, or was.

The hardest right now is probably prime. I think all of those are going for over 100K each.

If there are no cards available for sale of a particular card, see how many people are in line for paying the max amount. (2,500 for bronze. 5,000 silver. 25,000 gold.) If there are under 5-10 in buy orders, make one yourself. It shouldn't take too long to get it. You'd be surprised at how quick you can get them.

Don't forget after today's BR drop the ones that were available this program will be in the packs where you can pick more than one.

Of course there will be new ones also.

I was just looking at those. Too bad I suck too much to get those BR diamond cards.

Over 5 pitches should certainly be a thing for guys like Darvish. And with a guy like Cueto you should have multiple releases and timings to choose from. Short Medium and long Shimmy shakes. Just create more ways to make pitchers viable without giving them all 102mph pitches. The timing of Cuetos release is nice. Usually this guy is useless every year but he will have a month or two of being a top level pitcher for a change.

I've had some insane pulls the the past two days so I've been able to just buy a ton of cards I was interested in. I'm still sorting through who I'm going to keep but Crawford, Marcus Semien, Ketel Marte, Nick Castellanos, and that WS Greg Maddux have all been impressive so far.

Yep, I pulled a 90 Trout TWICE out of those. Yet another reason I deleted the game. FIFA is free on PS Store for Plus members, it's got a ton of great offline content if you aren't an online player like myself.

Weekly leagues, offline BR, etc. I already have a 88 OVR team with 98 Chemistry, started playing last night. Plenty good enough to play offline.

You have to give people a minimum of 100 ab's. Then if you haven't started hitting with him, time to move on.

They are actually not bad. Justice, Britton and Banks should be good for a while unless you have the LS collections completed. Then they just dont stack up to some of those high diamond LS cards and the collection reward cards. I had Justice and Banks early and sold each for around 44k, put those those stubs toward the LS collection. I have since bought and sold Justice several times all for a profit. One of these times I will buy him and actually hold on to him.

FOMO got the better of me and I bought the game last week after thinking I was going to wait until after the AS break.

My pulls were - Trout, Cron, Realmuto, Manoah, Robert, Stroman.

Trout and Robert were the only ones I was really excited about, though Cron has been probably the card I hit best with.

Jazz and his TN was great. This one not yet. Lindor has been borderline great offline and in co-op.

It’s really bad in Mini seasons and Conquest! You’ll have a pitcher throw to one batter and be absolutely tired about to hit red or out of energy! Goes for starters or relievers. I know they are trying to adjust the computer keeping in pitchers for whole game but think they over adjusted. A pitcher should come in with green unless he was used, then go into yellow and red, depending upon batter, amount of pitches, etc. Hope they tweak it.
