Cano looks pretty legit I think.

Can we please get some effing urgency when throwing? All around. I’ve had multiple situations where my opponent bunts with Robles towards the 2B and FOTF Albies takes his sweet time picking up the ball and throwing it. A defender of his caliber can make off balance/awkward throws without taking 5 seconds to transfer and gather himself.
Then there’s the OF (omg the OF). I understand the player needs to create some momentum when fielding the ball off the wall but holy hell why does he take a big ol skip and long arm swing when the runner is rounding 3rd heading to score.
Please fix this.

I’ve thought about this a lot lately and I think I’m starting to find an approach that’s really helping at the plate. With less than two strikes, any pitch that looks like it’s going to catch the low part of the strike zone I’ll just try to take. With the amount of sinkers and off speed pitches that are being thrown now, anything that starts low is going to break even lower and be out of the strike zone. Also don’t be afraid to take well executed strikes. If your opponent can dot a fastball on the corners just tip your hat and say good for you. It’s really difficult, sometimes impossible, to get good PCI placement on those corner pitches so even if you make contact more often than not it’s going to lead to a weak fly ball/ground ball. Pretty much just be selective and try to swing at good hittable pitches. Don’t just swing at everything that appears to be a strike.

Still seeing some issues where OF’s are not locking onto balls. Just had Buxton run down a ball in the gap and let it hit him in the head.
Apologies if this is a repeat comment. 130+ would take a while to go through.

I'm incredibly disappointed that Robert, Kelenic, Carlson, Rutschman, and Lux will all end up having worse cards than worse prospect counterparts on their own team
Hell, Franco might end up outclassed by some FS card on the Rays
I understand the difference between the card types, the top prospects should be the ones getting the juiced FS cards then
I agree, these top 10-15 prospects should have better cards than guys like Mountcastle or Bohm. SDS has gone a complete different direction with these FS cards. Like last year once guys like Vladdy and Bichette got called up, then they got FS cards. I think releasing more of these prospects are fine but just make them Prospect series and have their attributes reflect where they currently rank as prospects.

I personally love the events and really don’t like RS right now. Games go quicker, a lot less stress since losses don’t really matter, easier to obtain rewards (and may be better than WS rewards in some cases).

I’ve been passively doing this and about to have 10 teams to 120 points. I believe I originally saw @bonion mention this but the 72 bronzes work well. I’ll go through and put 3 buy orders in for each player for the rival teams I’m doing the exchange for. Normally 2.5ish rounds of this will get me 50 TA points for less than 5k stubs per exchange.

I’m taking Roberts (for obvious reasons). I was thinking of going after Brujan but was really happy they announced BRob was coming as I have no Rays TA points. Chipper looks awesome as well but I have 3B locked up with Bohm right now.
Do you like Bohm? His attributes are good but I'm not sure about his swing.
I’ve only played a couple ranked games since I got him but I like him a lot so far. I know I’ve hit one bomb in the 2-3 games and his swing feels really good.

I agree with this. It seems the timing windows are way different for each individual pitcher. For whatever reason I’m getting blown by on Kluber’s 95mph fastball and sinker and at the same time I have good, sometimes, early, timing on Kopech/Graterol 100mph+ fastballs. Doesn’t make sense.
-
I personally love Buxton’s swing. I know McGunski uses Buxton’s swing for his CAP.
-
Like a few have said here I’ve loved playing events but really don’t enjoy RS right now. I think it’s a combination of quicker 3-6 inning games, different lineup construction, easier (possibly better) rewards than getting to WS, and, maybe above all, I’m tired of facing Kluber every game.

Holy hell is everyone at prestige level now? Everyone but maybe two of my opponents in the event so far today have been at prestige level. Not saying that XP level = skill level, I’m just baffled how so many people are there already.
I get with the corona virus situation pretty much everyone is home with time to burn, but I still play about 3 hours a day, sometimes more, and I’m only Silver 39. I don’t do collections so I know that sets me back a bit but not the whole 261 total level gap. How are so many people doing this that fast? Is everyone just grinding showdown till their eyes are numb everyday?

I saw this mentioned the other day but the Chris Davis all star flashback would be cool.
-
Prospect Drew Waters has been amazing for me. My most consistent hitter.
-
The PCI/swing feedback is baffling to me. I’ve had multiple occasions today where the ball is just above center within the PCI with good timing, while using diamond Eddie with over 100 power, and the result being a routine fly ball to CF.

How long you y’all stick with a player that you struggle hitting with? I’ve played with Acuna for 11 games and for whatever reason cannot hit with him. .097 average with 3 uninspiring singles. Which sucks cuz he’s my favorite real life player and plays well for the majority of the community.
Should I pull the plug and go for another player or stick it out a little longer?

A little longer. Where are people getting you out in the strike zone with him? If it’s inside, or up and in, cheat your PCI there and work from there.
With fastballs as fast as they are, low vision guys can be hard to hit with.
Tough to say but probably mostly inside. But not sure if it’s just in my head when he’s at the plate as the rest of my lineup is hitting .280 or better.
I did just take a look at the market and there isn’t really anyone other than Trout or Bellinger I’d really want so might as well stick with Acuna for a bit longer.

I’ve really been liking the prospect Nick Madrigal. Cheap and a quality leadoff hitter. Very Ichiro esque but right handed
-
I agree it is a bit annoying. I get that everyone can do this but it’s a little ridiculous that I have to face Newhouser for 5 innings and then see 99 Kluber being brought into the game. I think there should be some sort of effectiveness penalty for starters being brought in as relievers.

I have Eddie and I love using him. Worth the shot since he’s free. I had Rendon for most of last year and played really well with him.
How do you get Eddie yes I know you need to complete the challenges but I mean his normal card?
You get his rookie year card from the XP reward path. I’m not sure exactly what silver level that is. Select Eddie from that choice pack and that will unlock the missions to get his diamond card.
