I love Mookie, he turns on those inside pitches so quickly unlike Soriano. I can’t wait to get him.
Still love trouty though!

I thought Vlad started at 75 OVR? Either way, massivvvvve jump
73 bronze. Lol I remember because I use to have him as a steal in my bronze BR round lol brings a happy tear to my eye to see him at a 94!

Devin Williams went common to diamond last season.
Did he? I have no IQ when it comes to Brewers baseball lol

Didn't Harper go common to diamond his rookie year ?
I’m pretty sure DD wasn’t around when Bryce made his debut
So today I was thinking in Diamond Dynasty history, the biggest jump in overalls (up or down) has to be Vladdy this year. He started as a 73 bronze, now a 94 diamond. The only other person I feel that had that big of a jump was Aaron Judge in his rookie season. I want to say he was a 60ish common and ended up 84 gold?
Let’s hear if y’all remember any significant upgrades or downgrades over the years! Something different than the contact swing nerf posts lol
Good moves by Yankees. They were too right dominant. Gallo and Rizzo should help.
This. Our just have common sense and not pick the same player again. Not to sound like a tool but it’s not like you don’t know which player you took before, it says NEW or x1 for a reason. Lol everyone’s in a rush and that’s when mistakes happen. Users fault, not the games.
He’s also the poster child to this years game. They can only put his hitting up so far without making it unbelievable. So to make him a playable diamond, they finesse his fielding lol
Could we be receiving the shark map today? I feel like it’s around this time they usually drop it, or could I be wrong?
@aaronjw76_psn said in My new catcher!!!:
75 arm strength. Stealing every attempt I get. Probably not a big deal for the WS/Legend players but it is for us AS and fringe HOF players
Arm strength doesn’t really matter this year (I mean if it’s below 70 it might). So many times a 99 stealing 99 speed etc will get a bad jump or have that hitch in there step half way.
I haven’t watched any nationals games in June but has Kyle actually played behind the plate or are we just going by his PS flashback in years past that he will have catcher secondary? Because I’m pretty sure POTM cards are only that position in the month.

Not to sound like a homer but this dude so far has been the best FA of the off season. It’s a shame our BP can’t be average, with the line up we have (which is one of the best in both leagues IMO) this team could of been sneaky come the playoffs. I know there is half the season to go, and I hope we can add some pieces to make a wild card push. But I feel this signing has Braves-Donaldson all over it and it will be wasted. He bet on himself and will be one and done with us. Looking back, I would of rather gave him Springer money and just sign Georgie to a one year deal with the log jam in our OF. One could of hoped, fingers crossed we at least lock up Bo and Vladdy like the Braves did with their stars.
Ps…this isn’t Kevin’s burner account, though I do love my Jays and Arby’s!

I’m struggling this year, been in WS from 17-19, didn’t play 20. This season I’m topping out at 830 then I’ll drop down to 780ish and then back up to 830, then back down. My pitching is phenomenal, sub 1.5 ERA (like a lot of others). My hitting (around .233 avg) on the other hand is abysmal. I’ve never experienced so much swing and miss in my life. I’m missing on offspeed and it’s driving me insane. I may just drop down to 730ish and see if I can string some success together and build off that. Before hitting 830 first time, I was 22-7, now I’m 31-18. It’s more in my head at this point I think and I just need to feel success again.
It’s def all mental it seems like for you bro. We’ve all been there, where we feel defeated and can’t hit anything. Just take a day or two away, and remind yourself you made WS in the past. Get some confidence and catch on his pitch selections (as I’m sure you already know). You got it bud.

I totally agree. I haven’t grinded RS this year much, but in years past I have made WS. My Era this year with my starters and my BP is amazingly low compared to years past (4+ era). I haven’t even tried pinpoint yet, just doing analog still and still dotting pitches I couldn’t in years past. It’s a lot more fun now especially in HOF and up.
I made WS once in 19 which was honestly just total luck. I was pretty awful, it was my first year playing DD and first year playing the The Show since 16. I spent all last year trying to get back and inevitably would stall out in the mid-800's because every game turned into a HR shootout and I had trouble adding on once I got 4 or 5 runs. I finally realized I was just going to need to hit better and really focused on my hitting and finally got back in twice in the last few seasons of the year. But [censored] if every game wasn't HR derby.
This year I'm 41-7 in ranked and have a 2.55 lifetime ERA. I'm wiping the floor with guys with WS and 12-0 banners. But at the same time I know I'm not THAT good. I think with the addition of Xbox players the quality of competition has gone down dramatically. These games aren't even that sweaty and last year pretty much every game above 800 was a complete sweat fest.
That’s good to hear man and congrats on the good record, keep the grinding. I decided this season I would grind it out for WS. Currently at 845ish with a 8-2 record (I think lol). Two rage quits today in first three innings, I guess people give up after an early homerun. Lol with what you and others are saying, I think I’ll just grind out the last few wins this weekend to get Vida.

Reading the OP makes me sad for the younger generation of kids not knowing how good The Beatles and other bands were back than. Some lyrics are pure poetry and you feel it. Some are crazy (I’m talking to you Jethro Tulls “aqualung” and The Kinks “Lola”) lol I’m glad the OP finally found this gold of an era of music and just listen to the 60s/70s on shuffle and get lost in it while playing the show or in life in general!
