I understand people “bunt cheesing” but I wish others knew how to play small ball.

Earlier today I won a game. I was down 1-0 and had a lead off single by Torre. Next at bat he hits Tom Glavine, so runners on first and second with no outs. Lofton is my lead off man, so I place down a bunt so I can at least advance the runners and if I’m fortunate enough get on base. His second baseman proceeds to try bare hands it but misses the ball (I still had it beat if he picked it cleanly). He proceeds to pause the game and messages me, calls me everything under the sun for bunting and how I’m no good etc lol I’m like dang dude, it’s called small ball. I ended up winning the game, but mind you my previous at bats with Lofton was swings as anyone who has played in years past know how glitchy his swing is.

Just wish people knew how to play certain situations and don’t get mad at you for silly things.

I know this isn’t baseball related but he was an icon in basketball. RIP mamba!

Don’t get me wrong, I believe mlb is by far the better product. But I wish certain players had certain abilities. Like in 2k Only certain players have acrobat or rim blocker abilities. I guess Quirks are like that, but not every player should make a jump throw across their body for an out like they are Derek Jeter (I’m looking at you Harmon Killebrew with the bronze defense). He should set his feet on a back hand. While I do like how certain level (silver, gold, diamond) have different animations, they should make quirks/abilities something in this game.

Chapman, Schmidt, arenado, Olson etc should have a vacuum quirk and players like Thomas shouldn’t be godly at first.

Players like mays griffey trout could have a boost for catching balls at the wall and robbing homers.

Just a late night thought, what do y’all think?

Found it fairly easily. 5/6 bosses are righties. Second to last is Chris Sale on HOF (he’s always been my nemesis, funky release). Pearson spams 102 fb so practice vs chapman on legend in bp before final boss to help with timing! Can’t wait to try yelich

This. Our just have common sense and not pick the same player again. Not to sound like a tool but it’s not like you don’t know which player you took before, it says NEW or x1 for a reason. Lol everyone’s in a rush and that’s when mistakes happen. Users fault, not the games.

Idc about hitting, I care about pitching. It’s so ridiculous. Can’t even find the zone.

I watch it if....
A.) my opponent does it first
B.) if it’s a big home run late in the game like a grand slam, go ahead etc.
C.) if it’s Reggie Jackson no doubter. Any and everytime I’ll replay it because I love how he just throws the bat down! Lol

This one I did first try. The home runs one are super easy. I’ll give you a tip. Switch your hitting to directional (if it’s on rookie and veteran). Aim towards up and in on the hitter And just wait for a pitch down the middle (which they will throw) and power swing! Someone gave me that tip last year for moments and topp moments, helps tremendously

This is one game so far so I know it’s an early review but take it for what it’s worth. Decided to finally play my first game on RS this season after grinding 50 event wins and All Timers Program. Played a fellow WS player on HOF.

Tom Seaver - CG 8 hits (four were from bunts to lofton lou and Gwynn). 2 earned ( made one mistake pitch hanging slider homer, other was a 9th inning sac fly score after back to back bunts, sb). And 10ks. Great control, speed differential.

Hornsby - I pressed with him hitting fourth, went 1-4 with a single. Had good exit velos and hit two to warning track, just missed it on pci. Defense was really well and didn’t feel like a silver out there, turned two double plays on speedster running to first.

Babe - was a little worried with his hitting stats not being what they were in years past. 3-4 and a homer. First at bat hit an inside dotted sinker lefty lefty in at the hands for a tank. Forgot how great of a swing he has. Definitely ENDGAME first baseman for me (silver fielding and 60 speed is respectable there).

I’m intrigued to see how these players play on legend once I make it to the 900s. Let me know how these three players or any other new releases have worked for you! Hopefully next game I can get gagne in.

Dang, I check my post from this morning and I see a lot of haters for situational bunting. People who hate on it is probably the same players who go for it on fourth and 30 on their own 20 in madden and rage quit when they don’t get the conversion lololol

Dude is nasty. Played a game on RS HOF and went 7.1 innings, 15 ks, 2 runs allowed, 3 walks, 4 hits. Hit 100 consistently on the 4 seam, 2 seam nice movement, and off speed good speed differential. Control could be better but isn’t that bad (dotted quite a bit once I got his release down). Was torn because Rollie was so good for me last year out of the pen. But I’m liking this Hal on the higher ranks. Who are you guys going take at level 40?

Edit: how do I report a player? His created player was named NIG GER. I’m sure it shows in my last game in box score. No need for that. Glad I made him look foolish with Hal.

I can’t speak for you guys and your skill set who are having trouble with him like the OP is having. But for me, I am a WS player, batting .360 with him(on hof and up) with 27 homers.

Like I said in a comment earlier. You guys could be pressing. Seeing how his stats look amazing and pci huge compared to a Joey gallo pci, you might be swinging at anything and everything. Just wait on a pitch. Because when he does connect, it’s a moonshot. Plus in my honest opinion, best no doubter bat flip in the game. Don’t give up on him yet. And his defense isn’t a joke, plays above that bronze shield! Good luck guys

I could be totally wrong, but looking at Babe Ruth’s career, he only won the MVP in 1923. So I’m assuming that’s the year of his MVP card (I can’t really tell the year In the video). I decided to go to baseball reference and look at his fielding log that year to see what position he played. He played every OF position and 1st Base! Only four games but a few were 9 innings worth so he should have 1st as a secondary. My apologies if this has been brought up already!
