to stop quitting games before my 8th batter. I can't phantom how much PXP I've lost out by quitting early.

I'm really confused here, did you think RNG didn't exist? RNG exists in just about every game, and it's not always some big evil thing put there to keep people from winning. Games like this cannot exist without some form of RNG. RNG is not some well hidden secret.

The stats themselves are RNG, a Hitter with more power is going to have a higher chance of hitting a home run on a good swing, that is an example of RNG.

Lmfao, that’s exactly what RNG is, calculating variables and depending on said variables a random outcome that isn’t predetermined is created. It’s been 6 years when are you guys gunna figure this out?

You have a much better chance of a homerun with a high power hitter than the opposite.

You have a even better chance with that same hitter on a lower difficulty.

You have an even better chance with that same hitter on that same difficulty against a pitcher with no stamina left.

It’s all RNG, the variables change, the name doesn’t.

Its not. calculated variables are based on constants, there is nothing random about them. RNG is a completely different thing.
both exist in the game.

The ONLY times I hold R2 is if my opponent is quick pitching and once I have 2 strikes or when it is a 3-2 count. That way I can see what pitches were thrown, where they were thrown, and his stamina/confidence.

Now at the beginning of a game, before the first pitch, and when a new pitcher comes in; I'll pause the game to see the pitcher's 'card' so I can see what pitches he throws, the amount of Ks he has, and his ERA.

Oh that may make a difference. I was under the impression that you would get Johnson AFTER you finished the AL.

What other pitchers do you have? Who do you need to finish the AL?

Not yet on how long. Also, I looked and the current RS program ends on the 26th.

I would have to avg around 67 innings a day to get to 600. Say I get 7 a game. That's almost 10 games a day. Not gonna happen. Lol

Johnson. Finishes the LS Collection than all you need to do is sell off any dup LS cards (that you don't think can be upgraded) and when you get the 300K back, or maybe even less, buy Ryan back.

Another reason for Johnson: I could say that 70-85% of players you'll match up with when he's pitching will probably quit.

Finally Arraez gets some attention!

I have to ask.

• He leads the league in Batting Average. Because of that he has 123 contact vs righties. That is the highest contact vs righties of any live series player in the game. Can't boost that much more
• He has the highest Vision Attribute of any live series card.
• He has the 3rd highest Clutch rating of any live series player.

What is SDS supposed to do?

Unfortunately he has .224 batting average against lefties which equates to a low contact vs Lefties attribute. Also, unfortunately for a 1B, he has pretty low power, which right or wrong matters for a 1B and their overall.

Just as an FYI. They have raised his CON R stat 33 points since the beginning of the season to account for the BA so they have not ignored him.

I assume, to give him a 97 all star that they boosted his contact vs left, and power numbers

The only possible way(s) he could get a significant boost is if they upgraded his power (not gonna happen) and/or his defense (like how the only way Devers got to be a Diamond a few years back).

Ok, I want to start off saying that I'm not playing Monday until the new program drops. I'm not going to mess up like I did before and get screwed on the XP cap.

Anyway, at 511K right now and the only things I haven't done are the Spotlight Moments and the Summer Sizzler Showdown.

If I do those it will net me another 30K which would get me a 2 Set 25 HL packs (already have Foxx) and 3 The Show packs.

I honestly don't think it's worth the time playing those Moments and Showdown for those packs.

I hit 20 Wins in the Event so I'm not interested in the last 10 wins for the Set 1 and 2 Always Intense packs; as I have all those cards and chances are I'll get base.

20K to play 20 games (I avg a win every other game) isn't really worth it either.

That leaves the BR Program (4pts) and Ranked.

I'm thinking of I concentrate on one of those tomorrow I should be able to get some points (BR) or Innings (Ranked) out of the way so I can concentrate on what's new Monday.

Or since I don't really care about anything else after 500K in XP would it be better to just take tomorrow and Monday morning off as that would be a waste of XP.

Thoughts or suggestions?

I always see people on here complaining about it and it's usually people that lose.

I never really believed that this was a thing until my last game.

Event game. My opponent came out with Awards Keuchel pitching and I had a lefty strong lineup as I'm trying to finish the last 10-15 points in each of the three MA Programs.

Anyway, he's making my batters look like Pee Wee league players. If I'm not striking out; I'm flying grounding out.

Anyway, top of the 3 and it's an 0-0 game. I have 0 hits. He has 2.

Bottom of the order up. MA Swanson grounds out. MA Varsho strikes out swinging. The the following happens:

I pinch hit for MA Walker with MA T.Hernandez and hit a moon shot. Next up is TA Altuve. Moonshot. Next up is TA Calhoun. Lefty on Lefty Moonshot. Next up is TA Reynolds. Moonshot. To take a 4-0 lead.

That's 2 and 2/3s innings if a game that I don't have a hit and I proceed to hit FOUR homeruns back-to-back-back.

He then proceeded to pop out, ground out, and line out to end the game.

So, either RNG DOES exist or he left Keuchel in to long.

Pretty sure it's the former as I'm probably batting under .200 with those players.

And if it helps, my pitcher MA Walker got his 2nd win online. So now he is 2-19!

Yeah, I NEVER should've won that game and I immediately messaged him and told him such.

Honestly, if I wasn't two wins away from the second Rewind Pack I would've quit the game in disgust.

But I want to get that second Rewind pack so I can focus on the BE Program.

Purchased some of the May POTM cards so I could get the program completed faster and I made sure to only lock in 3 from the first set and 2 from the second set of packs. That left me with Calhoun, Holmes, Perez, and Alonso as the ones I could sell.

I didn't sell them right away as I wanted to just them towards the Stage 3 missions.

However when I got my first non-sellable pack I made sure to pick Perez, Holmes, or Calhoun. I took Perez and sold him.

But when I just hit my second non-sellable pack I picked Helsey by mistake and now I have to keep the purchased copy of Calhoun or Holmes.

Oh well, at least I got 9K for QSing my dup Helsey.

I never called you specifically a rat or soft. I generalized all people who report others. I even made sure to include those that have made threads here basically bragging they are looking through logo vaults for innapropiate logos to report. I just don't agree with reporting people who make innapropiate logos or team names.

To answer your question... No I wouldn't report them if my child seen it. If your child is still an age where they shouldnt see innapropiate things yet... they shouldnt be playing around on the internet. I have a son and he wasn't allowed to play on the internet in any way until he was at an age that I felt he didn't need to be shielded from innapropiate content. I also definitely wouldn't have taught him the right way to handle it would be to try and contact PSN to report it. I taught my son when it was necessary to report something in life when it was just being a tattle tale.

What would you have done that's 'better' than reporting it to Sony?

Of course, since I cant pull up that PSN ID anymore, someone else must've have thought it was worth reporting.

I just starting experiencing the no program progress xp problem. I uninstalled and re-installed the game and it fixed it for me.

Are you referring to the screen that you can view after game by tabbing over from where it shows the XP/Stubs/Card(s)/Pack(s) you earned that game?

You can scroll down and see what progress was made on certain missions. Its the tab before the one you select to see the PXP for each player.

for those on ps4 that screen has been blank for 2 months

Yeah. I'm waiting for something, anything, from SDS on either a potential fix or that they aren't concert about it.

But I'm now wondering if uninstalling and reinstalling the game could help.......

Alright, I'm gonna try this 1 win on legend in Mini Seasons. I'm not the best hitter (pretty bad actually). Would you reccomend I use timing or directional? I don't care if it's a cheap win. I'm pitching Randy followed by the best pen guys in the game. I just need like 1-2 runs max. Help haha.

Speed and bunt specialists on offense and your best players on defense. And don't keep a pitcher in longer than one inning.

That's a good point. I have close to 400K now so they're not really needed.

I may have to add up what I would get and go from there. Was talking with someone earlier about Sig Mussina and I think I will cost me about 200K to get him.

First off this isn't a 'who do you think is a good investment?' question. Those crack me up. If you really think someone is going to get you who to invest in you're senile.

Anyway, I made some investments this week. Some panned out. Some fizzled. Wilson Contreras. I mainly sold off my 50 Nico Hoerners as he was one of my two Gold to Diamonds I took a chance on.

My others are mainly Silver to Gold mixed in with a few others.

My question: On any of the Silver to Golds that panned out for me; should I sell now or wait?

Most I spent anywhere from 200-222 per ard and right now they're all sitting at 80 so I would make at least double on them.

However, if they go up again, I could lose some stubs.

I did read on here that they may not do another attribute update until 3 weeks from yesterday because of the AS game next week.

With the way SDS has been upgrading/downgrading people this year, I'm thinking it may be better to sell off what I have now than to wait 3 weeks and take a chance of a downgrade.

Only benefit to waiting is that I'll still make a small profit just buy quick selling them before the update drops.

Any suggestions or pointers?

What are they banned for?

I got banned for trying to diffuse a crazy thread that started about the Donaldson/ Tim Anderson beef and turned into something really awful. I wrote to try and chill everyone out: "Do you think Ross and Rachel are still together?" A PG rated Friends joke. I was banned for 3 weeks.

They pretty much took a bunch of people who appread in that thread and banned them.

Another one occured when the Twitter guy botched the post for the Moonshot event with something a bit less appropriate and some people created a thread about it. They got banned, haven't seen them since.

Look at my post history (if you're bored) there is never anything toxic or controversial. If something about the game bothers me, I ask for help and opinions, I don't blindly slam the game. But I along with several other regulars who contribute in a positive way were banned.

I'm not sure what to make of it. This is the extent in which I make waves and who knows, maybe I'll get banned for this.

I don't know about in game bans, but the forum moderators this year are a joke. Half the people I actually respect and interact with on the forum have been banned for months, and this place has been basically dead since then. Hardly anything of substance has been posted, which has left me lurking and not contributing.

That has more to do with the quality of the product SDS continues to push out. It's easy to create a new profile if said individuals had any motivation to play or discuss this game.

Twitch stream numbers are the worst I've seen in years, twitter conversation is almost dead too. It's not forum bans my friend.

Depends on the ban. Most companies not only ban the player but hey also ban the console.

So they would have to buy a new console, buy a new version of the game, and then pay for another online subscription.

I'd like to reply that they are to busy looking for more songs to add to the jukebox; but like @Dolenz_PSN said, probably going to be a TN Moment.

Now if the walk off grand slam was his third homer of the game or the final piece to a Cycle then maybe he would get supercharged.

From what I've seen players are supercharged for having multi home games and having a possible once in a lifetime performance.
