It is kind of interesting. I pre-ordered the Jackie Robinson Edition, have downloads for the two versions, yet they have the Tatis cover. So, it is a bit confusing to see if I actually got the correct version. However, the Tatis image is the image I wanted, as that is a very cool image, yet the Jackie Robinson version is the version I wanted.

On xbox it is the same, except when I view the title in the xbox store, there is shows I own the JR version that cost $85

Yeah, I ordered it for my Xbox Series X. Haven't ordered it yet on the Playstation 4. Probably just going to play it on the Series X.

I won't be getting a series X until I can walk into bestbuy and grab it off the shelf. I do have an xbox 1X though, so I bought the bundle with both versions.

Yep, I’ve been playing a game or two every night on the “options explorer” mode! I haven’t played this series in years so I suck, trying to get better. Getting better at hitting day by day. Now my pitching and fielding has imploded lol, so need to work on that as well. Hopefully I actually like this game and don’t just get frustrated with it.

They pause it while batting and then all of a sudden my pitcher cant hit water if he fell out of a boat?

it just seems odd when the game gets paused and the batters they use can hit every time right to a place my defenders are not. bloops and grounders just out of reach.
I am just getting frustrated because things do not seem to be on the up and up. I welcome all replies

I feel your pain. I swear sometimes it feels like my opponent is playing the game with his feet they're so bad and next time through the lineup he's like a WS ranked player and smashes everything. I've also had the reverse happen where a guy jumps all over my in the first inning for 3-4 runs and then it looks like he handed the controller to his 3 year old. It's odd man and it keeps me guessing, I can't fathom what's happening on the other end. I do know this, I play a lot during the day and these guys, most likely kids, are almost all locked in from the get go. Everything is a nuke and mistakes are gone.

This is what i have been doing to beat them the last few weeks, If I know i will be facing the final boss as a lefty or Righting I load up on those with guys I hit well with, I will play a broze over A gold if i am hot and hitting well with that player, I have done so many now I know who I can hit with and who I can not. After that, I take 2 strikes on every batter in the final boss, get the pitcher tired, after two strikes focus on the strike zone do not swing on pitches way out of the zone and try to foul off pitches close to the zone. I like low ball hitters I sit middle bottom of the zone and I will use power swing, I can not hit the high pitches I lay off. i Avoid double plays this is one of the most important things, I will hit and run or just steal. I also have guys with speed and power, my lineup will be a speed guy a slower guy a speed guy a slower guy so I can hit and run. Some pitcher are easy to still on. I found that hit and running I get alot of meat balls that I can hit for HR. My bench will be one power guy and the rest speed guys so when it gets close to the end I can pitch run for my slow guys. Have good Perks, My favorite perks that work well for me is pitches down the middle and OPPO. for example the 6th inning showdown I have beat Maddux 3 times I do it over and over to get the headliner pack. I power swing I know I will get that change up at the bottom of the zone to the middle of the zone the last one i did Vs him I hit 5 hr, it went in down 15-4 I skipped alot of the blue missions. I won 18-15 with 7 outs left. hope this helps a little.

I use circle all the time, depending on the situation. Have hit bombs with contact.

The Closed Beta ended on the 21st.
