It used to be Costco Headquarters but it doesn’t seem like that now. I used to have games with scores in the 20s and 30s. That was a lot of fun. It isn’t as easy to do that now.

@TheGoaler_PSN I am doing that, but it’s following me and knocks out my territories in back of me so I can’t reinforce myself. Really driving me mad.
-
I’m encountering one of those conquests where the territories have been really aggressive. I started out trying to wipe out some of the open territories but a lot of those were quickly grabbed back. I’m wondering what is the best thing to do in case like this. I do have two strongholds beaten, so I’m on the way. But is there a better way to strategize this thing when the territories are so aggressive?

Huge Devers upgrade.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS That "soft fanbase" is just as much a part of this game as anyone else who plays. The idea should be to keep the game fun for all of us, not just a privileged few.
-
@Apolloz_99_MLBTS I STRONGLY disagree. This is, after all, A GAME. If all the pieces to play it are not available to those who aren't good enough to get them (myself, being one of them) then that takes a lot of the fun away. The fact that in '24 you needed a showdown to get a Vlad. Guerrero was enough to keep me away from the game last year. I wouldn't have come back this year if it wasn't for Playstation Plus. It doesn't necesarily have to be easy to obtain all the great cards, but at least make it doable for all of us.

I hate, hate, hate online. I just came back to the game and I will stick with conquests, mostly, though I started a mini-season this a.m. just to see what it was like again. It's ok. Conquest is my favorite, though. What really bugs me about online is all the exclusive (and usually very very good) cards are there and only there. For those of us that don't play, that stinks. Another thing to rant about: I hate paying for showdowns, so outside of the free one, I won't touch them. I did find out recently when trying DQ is that that's kind of showdownish, but I managed to do ok there. Maybe because I'm not paying for them. Paying for them really stresses me out, especially early on when I don't have that many stubbs and don't want to shell out 500 each time I lose. I really really wish that would change. One of the reasons I didn't play last year at all was because the Halloween program in '24 needed a showdown to get Vlad. Guerrero. I gave up after a few tries. Every program should have multiple ways to win. That one didn't.

Looks great! Thank you!!

@Player99_MLBTS Playstation Plus last had it two years ago.

If you play a game against you the daily lineups, do you still get credit in the grinds for using the team you use?
-
@OG_SANDLOT_PSN Frankly, if you don’t like the whiners, don’t watch or listen to them. The same situation works on YouTube. People complaining about the system don’t get my business.

Two years ago, I said I’d never come back to this game. Thanks to Playstation for doing this again. As Al Pacino said in Godfather III, “Just when I thought they I got out they dragged me back in.”
-
Just came back into the game after being away a couple of years. Two questions. First, how do you change the uniform on your Diamond Dynasty team. Second, how does the captain thing work now? I last played in ‘24 and I don’t see all the captains cards that we had then. Tx.

As far as games that mirror the sport, this one beats MLB The Show. I never played baseball, so I guess that kills my argument for those who love MLBTS, but as someone who league bowled for a couple of decades, I just love PBA Bowling 2026. There aren't multiple programs added all the time, so it doesn't take over your life. There are two levels: The regular (and easier) level and the Hall of Fame level, where the computer is much tougher to beat. I've been lucky to shoot a 300 at the HOF level (it's much easier at the lower level). If you like bowling and haven't tried this year, I recommend it.

When I last played the game two years ago (I'm not playing now and have no intention of coming back to it), I practiced over a year (from a complete non-user) to try and get pinpoint down. I was able to get it down somewhat but never good enough to where I thought I'd either use it against someone or even use it in solo games. I was too much inconsistent. I've seen others on YouTube and Twitch that have it down and God bless them. But I just didn't. Plus it took all the relaxation out of the game. I won't condemn it because I understand the idea behind it. And if you can get it to work for you, the game gives you an advantage because you can aim your pitches much more precisely. But I didn't think it was worth putting any more time into trying to get better with it.

No answer on what the minimum size of the game is?

I’m seriously considering getting the game now with the price for the standard edition at $19.99, which is as low as I think it’ll get. I played last year so I have the Willie Mays card and also the PlayStation plus package when I come into the game. I don’t plan to spend any money because I’m just gonna play the game for fun. But my question is how much space will I need for the standard edition? It says on PlayStation five then I’ll need 86 gigs. I’ve seen that the space estimations are usually not accurate and sometimes overestimated. Is that the case here? Will I actually need 86 gigs? Thank you.
