Trying to improve my game and not succeeding
-
I thought I was doing pretty well getting through the game this year even though I started with PS Plus. But the mandatory showdowns in the Halloweek and Skubal programs really made me feel like I wasn't as good as I thought I was. I still haven't finished either. (I really have a phobia against those things.) I'm trying to practice up and get ready for MLBTS 25 and hopefully finish those two programs. One thing I'll be doing is stopping playing at Rookie level when I play against the CPU and in Conquests, which is me just being lazy. (It's relaxing playing that way.) For practice, I'm trying to play moments that I haven't finished yet and I succeeded in one last night (the four XBH hits in the Moments of Glory). I also have been using the practice option and trying to hit on veteran level and above, which I've had some luck with, but I'm still not really consistent in getting solid hits.
I'm frustrated that I can't seem to improve noticeably. Would appreciate anyone giving me any practice suggestions.
And if you're reading this, SDS, a suggestion: Put the umpire back in practice mode (I could swear it used to be there). It would help batters see how many strike pitches they're missing. It would also help if you're practicing stealing bases which ones you made and which ones you didn't.

Additionally, please drop the mandatory showdowns. I think enough of us have indicated we don’t like them. Please take a listen. And Happy New Year.
