??? The equipment boosts do show up. If you pause the game when you are at bat, and you go into your player card, you will see a bunch of "+" numbers above your attributes. Those "+" numbers are actually your equipment bonuses.

The equipment bonuses do not show up on your OVR or as part of your statistics. They don't show up when looking at your archetype. The only place I've found that they show up is in the in-game pause menu. But they are there and do impact your performance.

They show up in the player card, but aren't actually there in RTTS. The best way to see this is to swing and miss and you'll see your CON, POW, VIS stats, and they will be without the equipment boost. I had the boost work randomly one game and the PCI was much larger (as it should be with the equipment boost) and then the next game back to without it and much smaller.

Thanks I tried that and it didnt work. Also some times my settings as far as 2 batting gloves, both compression sleeves, stuff like that reset and I only have 1 glove on or 1 sleeve on.

Then try deleting them and recreating and activate them. Mine work perfect so i feel like you might be missing/adding a step.

No it's actually a very common bug they still haven't fixed. There's no way they're not aware of it so I don't know why the F it's still unfixed and unaddressed even as far as I know..

Patch notes said it's fixed i believe. And like i said mine works perfect so....

Oh right since yours works perfect it must be fine. Genius argument. I have only 1 loadout, which is always activated and the bug is that every single time I go into the loadout it resets the appearance. ALSO, same bug still exists which is hiding perks. Like I have 3 diamond perks but when I have a loadout equipped with only 2 slots and I click one it does not show the 3rd diamond perk. Sloppiest work I've seen in a game in a long time.

Hit the big button in the middle of the controller and go to the loadout that way. Gear won’t reset this way

The only way I’ve been able to confirm is to swing and miss and look at the little box that pops up with CON, POW, VIS. Then you can go into the player card and see if it’s the number for those or if you add the +whatever number is there to see if you’re getting them (if you don’t know what it should be beforehand)

Got it. Is the boost sitting on top with the icon or is it actually reflected in your base overalls like in DD?? I’ve seen the former and pretty sure it doesn’t actually impact your player. I have NOT seen the later however

It’s sitting on top of whichever attribute bar you’re looking at

Yup, having to reset our player gear each time we visit our player loadouts is a huge pain in the [censored]. Wonder how long it’ll take them to properly fix the issue. If they even do.

Make one as position player and then another save as a pitcher. If you want the character to be different, well then that’s when you’re SOL. But if you just want one save as a pitcher and one as a batter and don’t care if it’s the same character, it works

It's definitely a bug and they still haven't addressed it. Seems to be different for everyone. For mine I figured out it is not counting equipment for the first game of any series. But when I click play next game after the first game it has been giving me the bonuses in games 2, 3 and 4 or however long the series is.
A good way to tell is when you're up to bat go to your player card and see which perks are activated. I'm using a gold archetype now and when equipment isn't active only the sniper perk shows up. When I check game 2 and after it shows all the perks like hitting machine, bomber, etc. And you can probably tell just by hitting though I've been able to dial in during game 1 and actually still hit homers on AS sometimes with 60 power. But 95 power is better lol. And more often than not I'm hitting deep fly balls since the same approach with equipment boosts would be HRs.

So wait, where are you getting sniper, hitting machine, bomber perks for your RTTS ball player? The only perks I’ve ever seen are contact, power, speed etc.

Don’t go in through the rtts main menu. If on PS, hit the big middle button on the controller and go to loadout to check progress that way

It will bring it over

Anytime you go into your Loadout it resets your cosmetic choices back to their default for what you have equipped. The only fix s either to go in and update your appearance every single time you go into your Loadout, or to never go into your loadout after you set them. There is no way to just make it not be coded terribly.

Not true. Hit the big button on the controller to go to the loadout screen that way. It won’t reset your gear doing it this way
