I put the ball in play 20 times.. 7 of which had PCI of 14 or high and didn't get one of those to be a hit.

He put the ball in play a whopping 11 times TOTAL.... ONE PCI of a 14. Everything else was a 12 or lower.... Including the game winning HR.

Now this is All-Star Hell of course since the season reset. But Can someone please chime in here and tell me Git Gud or defend the game to the end of times. Because that was literally the most frustrating games I have ever played.

Seeing comments about levels of PCI reached. How do you know what the level is?

Played a few games of conquest at hall of fame difficulty and even the cpu spams contact swings for homeruns.

I played a game the othet day against a team with around a 150-150 record online. At the time I had only 5 wins this season when we played.
From the start of the game every player on his team was hitting no less than .400 with multiple players with 50+ homeruns. Basically he was a far better player than I was and by a lot. I'll admit after his 5th homerun in the first inning off of a pitch that hit home plate I quit. After I got a message from him thanking me for his 50th win this season.
I dont understand how I was matched up with a player who was clearly better and much further along in the season in regards to wins. For the record I don't expect to not lose, but this far and away the most extreme difference I've come across.

I would add in the amount of broken bats on inside pitches is a bit extreme too. But baserunning is horrible, so many lost runs because of it.

Cant see how big of a deal it is honestly. Almost every DD team is 95+ ovr complete team as it is. Complaining about one player is the same as saying people shouldn't be able to use Mike Trout or Chipper Jones. Even if a CAP is a pitcher, it's still a one in 4-5 chance of catching them. Then the player still has to be good. One player will not make someone immediately unbeatable.

I'm pretty much in the same mold as your friend. The game has some good points but sadly diamond dynasty is frustrating as hell. The other modes are all essentially moments and they get old quick. What helped me the most was finding a group to get into a franchise with. Kind of sucks needing 4 people at a minimum, but the mode isn't too bad. You can scale the difficulty as needed. And at least for me, when the cpu does beat me I know it's because they have as good or a better team as opposed to the 95 ovr DD teams everyone has. (I shred my team for youth and grind from there, madden style)
I find myself willing to bounce back and forth without too much burnout.

Josh Donaldson, his 83 ovr card. I wreck with that swing personally. Honestly not sure if I can use it on my CAP, but I keep him in my lineup just because of it.

Create a RP, put him in the bullpen, switch the archetype to The Houdini. Delete all other loadouts, when you go into a game it will say you have no active loadout. Just press circle and you'll have whichever loadout is equipped.

Houdini can reach 125 h/9, 125 k/9, with max velo. My CAP threw 102, 71, 85, 92, 94. Oh and upwards of 110 Stammy

What are your four perks for this beast?

I'm curious as well, I have several diamond perks and even with all the velocity I can put on I can only hit 101mph but my control is in the 50's and stamina is in the mid 90's. I dialed back on speed and moved to more break/control and have been happier with the results. Granted I use metered pitching since I can't get PPP down at all.

I've been using strike zone 2, but I've found some ballparks can cut into it on the high side of the zone for some pitchers. Notably Kansas city and a pitcher with a high delivery.

Full disclosure, I'm on PS4 so I don't have stadium creator but honestly I wouldn't have touched it more than once even if I had a PS5.

Ppl were creaming themselves over this thing and the first week and it was fun seeing what the YouTubers made. But who in the blue heII cares about your Jurassic Park when the gameplay only made a slight improvement from last year.

So my main point is IF you could trade in your access to stadium creator for gameplay where "user stick stills DO reign supreme", would you? My answer in 100% yes, I think SC is GOOFY and so unnecessary.

Let's get the gameplay IN BETWEEN THE FOUL LINES polished before we get into gimmicks and dinosaurs in the outfield SDS.

Would rather see some pre-made stadiums instead of a creator mode. Too easy to exploit and any attempts to restrict the features would limit other creative builds. Just add in 15-20 random ones, maybe themed types. Lots of talent could be used elsewhere.

The 20 total bases with shortstops is easy too. You can get a full 8 player field with shortstops, granted some aren't that great, but one game vs the cpu and its done.

What determines when the center dot is the largest of the three instead of the top one? I really prefer the center one being the largest but it seems so random to who has it that way ans who doesn't. I was assuming it was tied to a rating but if it does I couldn't determine which one.

Crime is better in my neighborhood. I only get stabbed now. I used to get shot.

My biggest issue is the lack of decent pitches from the cpu. I end up swapping to directional hitting and swing power every time. It's the only way I could get the two Dave Parker homeruns done after about a hundred tries.

I fully understand why contact swinging is so popular. But I swapped to straight power swings and honestly think it's the better option. It's nice to knock away low swings with contact but it seems like power hits are more consistent on late swings for staying in play.

Swap Sutter with 88 Doolittle. That card is straight money for me, easily the best reliever I have used in this game period.

Played a guy who had his guy named Speedy Speedman. Had to be max height with the lowest weight/body style. Was hilarious, looked like former NBA player Shawn Bradley.

I gave upon rookie games vs the cpu.5 straight games I was held to less than 4 hits. Swapped to veteran and practically walked thru the challenges. I avg 12-20 hits on this level. Just seems like rookie is homerun or nothing.

200-400 fours years ago. Hasn't played the last three years. Now yes in WS? Sure.

How to you report these people?

Hate to say it but I have a zen and it's worthless on this game. It doesn't affect any aspect of how you play, especially pitching. I could support the fact it eases the use of the analog input, but that is more from a custom controller with a more restricted left stick.

I have watched my son play and he literally blocked off his screen except for the strike zone when he plays and while it's pretty funny to me, he hits 3 to 4 times better than I do.

I certainly won't rule out the possibility of someone cheating, it's everywhere, but on most sports games, at I least in my experience, it can be countered by solid play.

I would try swapping archetypes for a game or two and swapping back. I know the diamond ones are really grindy especially if you are just doing rtts repeatable missions. Unless you are doing the Sim cheese method and even then it can take a while.
