    u could with that attitude.

I mean, it sounds like you have a worse attitude right now...

Have you ever been frustrated at a company when you bought something and then you noticed they did something wrong with your order/item you bought/service and then they say "Im sorry there is nothing we can do for you"...? Would you have liked it if at that moment that happened to you I said to you, " Sounds like you have a bad attitude right now"... ???

Yes, but this isn't the case in this situation. No one ever said it goes in any order if the top price is a tie. Or at least I have never heard SDS say that. Perhaps it is random when the top bid is a tie?

The rules are pretty clear in the Terms Of Service, subsection 14(a): “In the event that two players enter an identical bid on the Marketplace, the winning bid shall be given to the player who has tagged the least amount of SDS staffers in the community forums.”

  • Showdown made me uninstall the game (feedback)

@midnightdt_mlbts said in Showdown made me uninstall the game (feedback):

Bro it's feedback to help improve the game. I freely admitted that I'm not good and guess what I'm not the only person who's not good at the game there's probably a whole lot of us. Your comment is not constructive or helpful at all.

Some people can be pretty cold here, don’t sweat it. It’s like tough love, only without the love, ha. I struggled heavily with Showdowns at first last year. Half of the problem was that I would get too amped up over the “all or nothing” aspect, and that made me impatient.

    • Slow down the game, take some pitches, and try to wait for something elevated in the zone. If you have a runner on 1st, sit lower in the zone so that you don’t hit into a DP.
    • Know your bosses and whether you need to build a team of primarily lefties, righties or a mix of both.
    • If you can, get some speed for your bench. When you have a few outs left and your catcher gets a hit, you need someone who can swipe a bag.
    • Very importantly, pick the right perks, and swap them based on the challenge. This can make a huge difference. Perks that give you a boost when losing are nice, but usually only help against bosses, but perks that give you an exit velo / contact boost in 2-strike counts (for example) can help on every single hitting challenge. Especially if you stack two or more of the same thing.

    You’ll get there.

  • What player would the live series collection have to be to get you to drop $1000 day one?
  • asocial_graceA asocial_grace

At first I used to think it was crazy that people would spend hundreds if not thousands on one year of the game... but it all depends what you get out of it. If you play 1,000 hours a year of MLBTS and truly enjoy it, then spending $1,000 is actually cheap, safe entertainment. Few fun things in life cost $1 an hour.

And for some people, they can say “I earn X dollars per hour at my job, and grinding would take me 100 hours to get what I want... isn’t it just cheaper in a time/money perspective for me to buy stubs and skip the grind?” Which yeah, it very well might be.

As you said, life can be short and nobody is promised anything. Just do what brings you enjoyment while you’re here. I like the feeling of grinding out a reward, but everyone should find what works for them and not worry so much about what other people do or don’t do.

Dyk vaccines companys face no liability? They operate with immunity.

I just wanted to point out that I loved the irony of this line. It’s like a joke you would read on the back of a cereal box.
“Q: Do you know why vaccination companies face no corporate liability?
A: It’s because they operate with immunity!” (B’dum-tiss!)

I would have loved it if you filed suit, though. “Good news, Mr. Ward. Sony have acquiesced to our demands, and so I am happy to present you with a refund for $99.99. You will also find enclosed our invoice for $2,400 for our legal services. Please make the check out to our firm, Dewey, Cheatem & Howe.”

I think even if they keep these guys, they need to start from scratch and re-record everything. Some phrases have been in use for too many years. It’s really getting tiring.

  • Bawlin’ is a habit
  • asocial_graceA asocial_grace

That’s my new response to all the serial crybabies around here. Not the ones with well thought-out complaints or constructive criticism — there are legitimately things that need work with this game — but those elite few who complain like they get paid for it and who blame everything and everyone but themselves. Or who have those prolonged announcements about how they’re done, they’re deleting the game and never playing again... but who just want to get eleven more things off their chest before they go...

Breaking news. Man brags about dominance in a single game, and then cries foul when he loses the series.

I'm sure in his mind he is trash talking like Mohammad Ali, but in reality he just looks like Gob Bluth doing the chicken dance.

How about we get a series then ? Let’s see how good you are. We can play for any wager u want

Dude, you lost a bet. Now honor it. Go away.

Jeter was a great hitter, but for the entirety of his career, by every advanced fielding metric, he was a below average fielder. Not even average — he was actually a liability with his glove. Garciaparra was better. J.J. Hardy was much better. Jeter hit his way to the Hall Of Fame, but it had zero to do with his defense.
