This is for Xbox players or just new DD players in general.
I’ve seen quite a bit of people loathing about moments. Whether it be daily moments, topps now or what have you.
I’m just here to tell all of y’all that this is only the beginning of y’all’s struggles. Later in the year SDS will drop moments extreme, which will be ridiculously challenging and will make you want to throw your controller in a wall. Most of which are Hof of Legend difficulty. Just a friendly heads up in case y’all want to go ahead and buy a new controller

Go to game history, find out who he is, and then message him saying how you enjoyed the last game. Friend request him and offer a friendly

I’m locking in every single player I can get my hands on this year, knowing how MVP Trout was the best card last year. Hopefully this years collection reward is just as good if not better

It's your router man, I had the same problem. I have spectrum and have played for years, then all of a sudden I wasn't able to stay logged onto the servers for more than 5 minutes. This went on for weeks, I got a new internet line installed, I got a new modem, and still nothing. So I went out and bought a 50 dollar Netgear Nighthawk router and all of my problems were solved immediately

I pulled Trout from post game reward, and then pulled him in a headliner

This card has no basis in reality. It's a completely fictional player you just stuck name and face to.

Next question..... What was the point of the moments to earn the prospect version of just last week when that card was going to be obsolete a few weeks later?

Lol this is a video game, the same one where you can create a player whose name is Mike Hawk with Barry Bonds hitting Rickey Henderson Speed and Nolan Arenado fielding. Barely halfway through the year, plenty more cards will be introduced into the game.
And the point was to have fun with a boosted card, just like they did with Tatis last year, nothing new. His call up was hyped and they did a good job of expressing that. And since it was loved so much by the community they did was any decent dev company would do, listened to their fans and gave them a card they wanted.

Jose Ramirez has the quickest swing out of everybody I have used. I tend to be out in front of 102 with him lol

Yea I realized I could look up all the old threads after posting this. Can I skip all the fielding BS to make it go quicker or will my guys defense be really bad if I don't field?

Nope you can skip it but you have to turn it off in the clubhouse go to settings on the right and turn it off. You can do it on baserunning too. Don’t sim them while in game or none of your stats will count.

Awesome appreciate it man. How long do you think it takes to get a diamond CAP? Really dreading this grind but might as well start while Online isnt working.

Probably a good 10-12 hours. Make sure you know how to track the archetypes and stat missions. But you come out with the best player in the game and you’ll get 2 diamond equipment and a diamond perk too and a lot of xp.

For sure yea its definitely worth it. Last question... For the bronze sparkplug missions it looks like not a lot of points playing RTTS after you get the 50 hits. Is it best to do some of the DD missions with it?

Depends on how you want to do the grind, you can get into each game, get to the pause screen and simulate and exit. This will keep track of your stats, and you will unlock the next tier in about an hour or so.
If you do this method be sure to NOT simulate from the actual simulation screen in game, this way does not track stats.
If you want to play your games out, I would probably mix in some DD online play as well bc that is going to be a long grind

I have been playing 20 since launch, and haven't had any problems until a week ago. So I've been having the same issue as you. Can't connect longer than 5 minutes, and I am hardwired in. I have changed my modem and router three times. Finally a tech came over and said I have too much ingress in my outlets, causing a lot of inconsistency in my signal. They are coming today to put a new internet line in my wall, I'll keep y'all updated on how it goes.

Dude fr? I've been dealing with this problem for months. I've made spectrum come over and try to fix the problem so many times lol but nothing ever works. So did you all get the same NetGear router that was mentioned above? I'm super stoked to try this out!

Same situation man. I'm gonna get it ASAP. Thanks for posting about it! So you mentioned the Nighthawk router you got was $50... which one did you get? All the ones I'm seeing are like $170 which is so steep

I made a thread on this on the DD section.
Make sure you have two load outs. On one, you have your maxed out diamond archetype whichever it is.
Then on your second loadout, equip which ever perk you want that your desired position is the first option available. ( Bronze Slick fielding - Catcher )

Before each DD game activate your second loadout from the loadout screen. When you load into a game, it will present an option to choose which loadout you want to use. This is where you select your diamond archetype while having your desired position active.

Getting shut out in the 8th, Tatis hits a solo jack. Down 2-1. He brings crochet in, Jorge walks, and then Gary walks. So two on with no outs and honus comes up to bat, get in a two strike count. And I laid my first bunt down of the year (felt dirty about it) but couldn't sacrifice a double play. Got on, brought in nick for Larry, then hit a grand slam causing him to dashboard.
I hate bunt cheesers, but am I wrong for putting a bunt down in a critical situation?

Question for you: When you play offline (conquest, for example), it doesn’t ask you which loadout you want to use, so I’m guessing what you’re saying applies to online play mostly, right?

Yeah exactly, I have two different team builds one for shortstop primary, and one for catcher primary just for this reason
