I was but in the game previous to this one which the opponent quit.

The game was 0-0 going into the bottom of the 1st...

Edit: My previous game was 8-0 but the guy quit. This one isn't recorded yet because it hasn't been finalized.

I have contacted SDS so they can at least try to keep both our records not being affected and end this game but have not received a response. I am not willing to just give up this game to someone that could possibly be doing this intentionally as I am in the high 800s and this could be my WS game. Another option would be to just quit and let him have his W but then who knows if I go on one of those losing streaks that take me down to the 700s. SDS should have some control over frozen games in order for it to be terminated without affecting records.

The first few times you try to use a created stadium in online play it shows the "Unhandled Server Exception" message and then sends you back to the main screen. A bit annoying but hope SDS has a fix for it.

As the title states and as most of you know by now, MyBallplayer can not be used as a catcher in DD because he turns into Helen Keller behind the plate. If the "arch" allows for Catcher to even be a secondary position then at least let him play like Biggio last year behind the plate where he wasn't STELLAR but he did pretty well. If you tell me Posada, Salvy, or even Wieters I would still take my Ballplayer so please make this happen.

Showdowns were pretty enjoyable for stage 1 and 2 but stage 3 just feels unbearable. The difficulty feels highly altered to have the sliders against you and this isn’t coming from a bad player. The missions are also not FUN but TEDIOUS. You tell me to hit a walk off that’s fine It adds to the moment but tell me to get the lead on the top of the 9th and then have to pitch it then becomes tedious. Instead of having to get 2 runs you now have to get 2 runs and while having XBH. They just made it incredibly annoying to get through these showdown moments.

Anybody else noticed that when Kluber is the middle boss in the AL showdown that it’s on AS? That’s a bit odd taking into consideration that he’s arguably the best pitcher in the game and his counterparts which are nowhere near as good it’s on veteran.

@Practicalminded its ridiculous at how bad that logic is! Fast players steal all the time in the MLB but here the pitcher has a sixth sense that tells him when you’re stealing.

I go to steal off the CPU with Ty Cobb on 1B with 99 speed and get thrown out even after taking 2 leads on the second strike of the AB. Does that sound reasonable?

So I’ve played well over 100 showdowns I’d say. As of late I have noticed that the blue missions (think they’re called mini bosses) have been ridiculously RNG. I literally just went 2/6 in the first 6 mini bosses which is unheard of as they’re designed so even the average player can prosper in them. The mode has been changed to go completely against the user now and juice up the CPU even on Veteran difficulty. If you want to make these tougher just put them on All-Star or HoF difficulty but don’t like saying it’s Veteran.

I have been noticing that even perfect/perfect hit balls aren’t traveling like they used to. Like drives with the likes of Eddie Matthews and Juan Soto are just dying as soon as they get into the outfield. I went into conquest to do some missions and then also noticed that hitting has been altered cause the players I’m used to playing with just weren’t getting the same pop off the bat.

The worst part about this update is that it affects those who don’t put money into the game and were willing to grind endless money in order to make their stubs/XP. The real issue is that SDS does not care about the ones who don’t put money into their game. The ones who bought stubs and completed everything will go right back into their 15% off sale and buy more stubs while the vast majority sit here in vain upset at the new changes. They got rid of those who didn’t have that much of an impact on their pockets.

I think it's all strategic, and I like it. I get that everyone wants to see a bunch of 99 studs right now, but that raises the bar to an unsustainable level for the rest of the year. Starting with 90-93 overall cards, then progressing to 94-96 overalls before jumping into the 97-99 club is a good idea, in my opinion. By having all the future stars cards out now (even if their stats are inflated more than they probably should be), they are going to be usable for a longer period of the year, as opposed to if they were released later in the summer or fall when there are already a ton of OP cards. I think this only adds to lineup diversity, as well, which is something people should be happy about. MLB 18 was so poorly received because the content was bad, and there was no lineup diversity once the immortals released

People forget how much complaining there was about the spam of 99's in MLB 19 and how everyones team was 99 to early in the year.

I enjoyed all the 99s cause it Gabe difference in the teams you’re facing instead of seeing the same 99s all over again

Yes, the AMOUNT of content they have released has been great but the QUALITY has lacked tremendously. We are just now seeing Cy Young which was given in the first inning boss last year. They are releasing tons of prospects cars which nobody really knows about unless they follow farm systems and all that good stuff.

I got a monitor and it helps tremendously when it comes to timing

Lost to the first boss twice today on Stage 2 NL. Had never lost to any Stage 2 NL boss before today.

Yeah with 4 runs to go I got down to 6 outs against Wright. It’s blatant that they WANT showdowns to be very tough instead of an enjoyable game mode.
