Over 24 hours in a freeze off

I have contacted SDS so they can at least try to keep both our records not being affected and end this game but have not received a response. I am not willing to just give up this game to someone that could possibly be doing this intentionally as I am in the high 800s and this could be my WS game. Another option would be to just quit and let him have his W but then who knows if I go on one of those losing streaks that take me down to the 700s. SDS should have some control over frozen games in order for it to be terminated without affecting records.

He's up 8-0 and should get the win. I can't stand other players that wait for freeze offs and just sit there when they know they're gonna lose. It's not the game that sucks, it's the large community of toxic players looking to make the game un-enjoyable for others. My only advice is to quit the game and report it for connection issues. If it's fixed, you won't get the stats, but eventually you will get the win.

Since he is in a freeze off, the game hasn't completed and thus does not show in game history. That 8-0 is from an already completed game.

The game was 0-0 going into the bottom of the 1st...
Edit: My previous game was 8-0 but the guy quit. This one isn't recorded yet because it hasn't been finalized.

I was but in the game previous to this one which the opponent quit.

Freeze offs have been in the games for years. SDS has never shown (as far as I know) that they have the ability to terminate a freeze off in progress without giving either team a loss. If they looked at your email, and that's a big if, they probably laughed and moved on.
If it's 0-0 like you say, then it's an unfortunate situation but your opponent has just as much of a right to wait it out as you do. It's a battle of wills, and your opponent is clearly committed.

This game is unplayable online. I'm not sitting here for hours waiting for someone else to quit. It shouldn't happen in the first place. Every other game is frozen. How do you have record based modes like BR and Ranked where this still happens. I can't believe the devs can't figure out a way to know if the game was frozen when someone closed the application. Update 17 also broke hitting online. Definitely seems to have been a half measured band-aid fix to the corner glitch.
