I seem to be the only person here who thinks that stealing on a 2-0 count is crazy unnecessary. Probability of a walk or a hittable pitch is significantly higher so stealing 2nd is almost pointless. Plus depending on the count and the batter the pitcher may end up pitching around the batter if 1st is empty.

I dont see how getting a player into scoring position is "unnecessary". Unless, you only plan on scoring by way of HRs.

Yeah I used the wrong word there; it’s just the risk vs reward thing; the risk of getting caught stealing vs the reward of the runner getting to 2nd when there’s a reasonable likelihood they’ll end up there anyway.

You could always play MtO or exchanges

I’ve grown frustrated with this game so I jumped into a few offline games on 16, had a great time. For anyone who still has 16, go play a few games and tell me this game hasn’t progressively gotten worse every year.

Yea I did it twice just to see what it was about. Little 20 level boost. I wouldn’t do it up through prestige like some dudes did. You can clearly see I’m gold 60 and my hours played. I actually think if they patched it they should revert back the levels of everybody. But that would probably be tough.

It’s just sooooo tired. Do a mission for 5 affinity points and have 1000 plus innings left as the only remaining mission stage after stage.

The missions should be repeatable and just increase from 5 hits with so and so, to 25 hits with whoever, then 50 hits. One single mission...it’s beyond boring. Showdown is fun, but it’s not fun when it’s the only option.

I wouldn’t give up on them yet. I don’t know which was the last you tried but stage 2 and second inning are significantly easier than the first versions. Also, I beat the NL one this AM for the first time after failing twice and this was AFTER the patch. It’s a lot of luck, both RNG and what cards you get. If you keep at it the bill will drop in your favor just enough

Stack lefties and skip MadBum. Take two strikes, always take on 2-0, 3-1 counts and make him pay for the walks. Have a couple speedsters if possible on bench to pinch run when u get close.

Can you play casual online to get the stats? If not then I don't understand why casual online is even a thing.

I agree online competitive games should all be zone hitting. There is zero competitive balance having people just press a button, Directional aka timing only. Only way to have a semblance of fair competition is if everyone uses the same settings.

HoF should be the standard difficulty for hittting and pitching too. Anyone who plays DD, it’s pretty much a “hardcore” mode, meaning people are spending money and grinding solos to improve their team. So being that it’s a hardcore mode there is no reason to ever have lesser difficulties until you reach 700. HoF all the way through!
