“Fixed an issue that allowed the user to initiate a "perfect jump" steal attempt in any game versus the CPU.“

They rather fix this than their broken [censored] online gameplay.

None to worry.. the CPU will still get perfect jumps on you! CPU pitcher's will also still know when you're planning to steal.

They AI will also still know when you push steal and commence to throw you out. I bet they won't patch that.

Oh 100%. They’ll still pitch out at the most random times that you’re coincidentally stealing.

And to top it off, you wont get a audible warning when they steal against you.

I don't actually know what this exploit was, but if there was a way to cheese steals every time I can see why it was patched.

They didn’t get rid of the ability to get a perfect jump. They fixed an EXPLOIT that made it so you could get a perfect jump every time and steal bases with 100% success no matter the speed of the runner. I understand being upset about them not fixing gameplay issues, but so many people being mad that they fixed EXPLOITS says a whole lot about this community

You guys don't understand what they patched.

@andrae-ransom posted an awesome video showing you guys how to take advantage of a flaw in the game and instead watching the video and realizing what he was telling you, you instead decided to whine and complain he was posting his own content.

He exposed a flaw where you could take a 2 step lead and get a perfect jump with no throw over and steal every base every time even with 28 speed 0 steal Tommy LaStella.

You guys could have taken advantage of this if you just listened to the guy and watched his video instead of reporting him and complaining he posted his own content.

    Thanks Ransom! Keep it up!

Offline base stealing does not reflect reality. If you try to steal against the CPU, you will consistently fail. Even with good base stealers. CPU pitchouts and pick offs are absurd, very far out of balance with real life MLB.
Many of us offline players have just removed base stealing from consideration, just quit doing it altogether, other that the rare situations where the CPU never piches out.
This glitch at least brought some fun back to the game. Should Gary Sanchez be able to steal consistently? Of course not. But Rickey Henderson should, right?
The percentage of times the CPU pitches out or picks off after you signal a steal is beyond reason.

I steal plenty against the CPU, with guys that should be stealing. Don't run on the first pitch, don't run unless ahead in the count and don't take an aggressive lead. I am rarely thrown out or picked off. I can count on one hand the number of times either have happened and it's been vs catchers I probably shouldnt be running against and usually on a fastball thrown in an odd situation.

Yeah, I would like to have SDS explain the exploit by the AI who knows when you are stealing.

The AI borrowed the Astros' trashcan.

Anyone who says it was 100%success is lying to you. Yes it was an exploit, and yes it was around for many, many years, and yes it should be patched. But it did not guarantee you the base

If a broken mechanic benefits the user, it's an exploit or glitch.

If a broken mechanic benefits SDS, it's just part of the game.

Welcome to the wonderful world of MTX-driven video games!
