Can we please get some effing urgency when throwing? All around. I’ve had multiple situations where my opponent bunts with Robles towards the 2B and FOTF Albies takes his sweet time picking up the ball and throwing it. A defender of his caliber can make off balance/awkward throws without taking 5 seconds to transfer and gather himself.
Then there’s the OF (omg the OF). I understand the player needs to create some momentum when fielding the ball off the wall but holy hell why does he take a big ol skip and long arm swing when the runner is rounding 3rd heading to score.
Please fix this.

Fielding is still pretty bad guys. 2-3+ times per offline game the fielders are not locking onto balls. If anything the infield defenders have gotten worse since the patch. I’m seeing many times where diamonds fielders aren’t picking the ball up and throwing it. Something is just not right about the game code this year. The baserunning has honestly never been great, but the baserunning IQ this year is way worse. Last night I had runners at 1st and 2nd with no outs. I hit a gapper that was easily gonna be a double scoring 2 runs, but the runner at 2nd refused to start running even though I was pressing to advance all from the beginning. Actually ended up being a ridiculous triple play by CPU defenders on Rookie. I want so much to love the game, but it’s getting harder and harder. I’ve watched a lot of the Players League from the beginning and it’s gotten so I even feel embarrassed for SDS during the games. The game code errors are evident in many of the games, and those games are only 3 innings.

So many people on here (on both sides of the good/bad game debate). I just generally can't stand the back and forth hatred and bithcing at each other. I come here to be informed about the game. I wish there was a way to see only informative posts and not the constant complaining about the same stuff over and over, the fighting and namecalling between people, etc.

Holly dude, why is your pitch speeds so slow? That would totally throw me off so much, I've never seen it that slow...did you lower Pitch Speeds all the way down? or is this how it is in those beginner levels like Veteran and All-Star?...seems like its in slow motion.
Yeah Josh, it's called events and unfortunately if I want rewards then I have to play on it

I had my first one tonight, RF ignored the ball completely near the outfield wall. I did save the clip, but as I’ve had to play a RS game on HoF tonight I don’t feel like editing it, uploading it or offering any more detail because the game feels pointless again. It’s a waste of time pursuing an expensive and time consuming collection of cards when you only provide one 9 inning mode without restrictions on the composition of our team from our collection, only to strike out 20 times every game in that mode because you keep adding outlier pitchers with 102mph sinkers yet refuse to open the swing timing windows sufficiently to allow us to make contact with them. This game absolutely stinks to high heaven, mostly because you have more chance of being smashed in the face with a routine fly ball than you do of making contact with a pitch. Please forward this feedback to the relevant department, because all the emails, feedback submissions, forum posts and social media comments are obviously not getting through.

You know you can’t trust technology that works too fast. That’s why I don’t use calculators and why I play Diamond Dynasty using a 7 day free trial of America Online dial up from 1997.

The good about fielding: The outfielders seem to be better.
The bad about fielding: Infielders don't have much of a clue.Since 1.09 I've had Jimmy Rollins at SS lock into place and put his glove down between his legs while the ball rolled past him three feet to the side (and let my opponent walk it off). And three times I've had Brooks Robinson let the ball go under his glove when it was hit within one step of him... Just olé'd them.

I've played Diamond Dynasty since it was made up of fake players that you trained up until their contracts ran out, whatever years that was, and this is still by FAR the worst this game has played. Pitching's a dice roll. Hitting's just guesswork when I'm early on 98 mph 4-seamers, then late on breaking balls, then just the opposite an inning or two later.
(sigh) Could we maybe just skip right on to patch 1.24 now?
