This New Event is....

Hot Trash Nothing gets me going like playing a 17-15 game in Shippet with common pitchers, spending over 40 minutes on a game, using all my pitchers I have in my bullpen, ONLY TO GO 2-0 ON THE RUN!?!?

How am I suppose to string together 12 wins for a diamond? Let alone 9 for a gold... It legit makes 0 sense to make games 6 innings with such HORRIBLE pitcher OVRs??? Its a HR derby, takes just as long as a RS game and its a total RNG fest. Fielders not locking in, Good/Okays on 64 OVR pitchers are warning track shots... After 3 games took me about 1 hours and 30 minutes, a 2-1 record, I have 0 desire to grind this event...

PLUS there is 0 stat grinds. I wanna get my Prestige cards, my Oswalt, Biggio, Han Ram, so on... and this Event helps me accomplish NONE of that... I cant even do inning grinds cause half my TA's are maxed at 70/70... Legit, I am playing these HR derby event games for what... a Silver player pack at 10 wins? A SINGLE Gold pack at 20 wins? Oh wow wait wait... at 35 wins, you get 5 PACKS!!!! WOOOWW!!!!

I can make SO much more stubs, get so much more XP, get TA fans by playing Showdown and get my prestige cards playing Ranked Seasons.

Maybe something will change soon, but honestly, I will just save my energy, flip cards, and get Bohm when he drops down to a better price...

You can’t go on runs burning starter gas, he’s talking about trying to win 9-12 games for rewards that are someone worthwhile. There are zero decent bullpen arms to use so you either have to a. Play batting practice or b. just gas starters are forfeit to restock their juice. Then the only good reward starts at 50 wins!!!! 50!!!!!!

Yeah that’s why 6 innings is dumb. Short event and you need at a minimum 300 innings of games played for that. Ridiculous unless your a non essential employee and have shitb to do for 9’days

My gripe with this Event is we can't use Rookie series cards...
It would open up more relievers. And could grind out Jackie Robinson stats....

Made two 12 runs without using 1 common pitcher tonight, one of the easiest events I’ve played

I just have a grip with the 6 inning part and the rewards that go with it. Its soooo time consuming and not everyone is going to have the time and effort to grind out 50 wins with 6 inning games... I am just getting 2 or 3 wins and forfeiting my run because my arms are gassed.... I just want this Bohm tbh... screw the packs lol I can get plenty elsewhere

Plus there are no stat grinds. The whole point is to try and use the events to stat grind or get some sort of side missions done... but I cant work on my prestige or Jackie missions or ANYTHING! I cant even do innings cause Stage 2 isnt even out yet for TA's lol

Then just play RS get the Britton sell it and get Bohm. Point of the event is to get people away from playing the same players over and over. Sounds like that's exactly what you want to do so go do it in RS and use the reward from that and use it to get Bohm when his price drops.

You are missing my point completely... I already sold my Britton... why would I grind RS, just to sell my hard earned reward to get another reward? The point I am making is the event is structured very poorly and the lineups have 0 variety no point to grinding. The ONLY reward worth getting is the 50 win Bohm... nothing really in between that besides Lux, but he is decent at best. I mean a Gold Player pack at 20 wins? Maybe 3k stubs at best? I know it sounds like I am complaining but for that time crunch, there are SO many better ways I could be spending my time in DD. I could play SO many showdowns, get a bunch of levels worth of XP, SO many more stubs then I would sell my Bohm for with less of a headache...

Also, you say the point to the event is to "get away from using the same lineups".... dude, I am using the exact same FOTF lineup from last event. Just without Kluber and 99 Posey... it's legit no different except now I have to play 6 inning slugfest with depleted arms and commons

Plus, I am fortunate enough to be able to make WS... people arent in that same boat... they cant just be like "Oh lemme make WS real quick" lol
