which collections first AL or NL

SDS

6 Of each collection left AL: angels, A's, Stros, yanks, red sox, rays, NL: mets, nats, braves, rockies, dodgers, diamondbacks

SDS

Depends on how much stubs you have and which player you want first, Gary Sheffield or Craig Biggio

I went with the AL. Biggio seemed like the better option using him at C with his secondary position versatility. I've only played about 8 games with him online and he's been great behind the dish. Strong enough arm and blocking, but his speed and reaction time are great. I couldn't see going for Sheff with the way defense already plays for guys with high fielding ratings and OF is a lot more stacked anyway.

Too be fair, Yelich's defense rating is pathetic but he has not been a problem for me. I plan to replace him with Sheff just to get a strong arm back in left field. Yelich has been a monster for me though, gonna be hard to take him out of my lineup.

I used Yellich for a couple games and while he does rake it didnt offset the lack of arm. He cant throw anyone out and there are so many players who can hit and field

I did NL first as I thought it would be cheaper, it was not!

Too each his own I suppose. I ran with Judge, Acuna, and Gallo in my outfield because I value arm strength so much. It is great gunning runners down trying to advance from third on a flyball. However, I'm one of the few that didn't hit that well with Gallo, so I took him out for Yeli, He''s tied for second in homeruns and is first by average, hitting .367 in 226 ABs. Definitely offests the arm in my case.

I have Gallo, Cargo and Judge who all can throw a rope. But I cant hit with Gallo either so I usually use chuck nasty off my bench and then put Robles back in

People get scared away by Trout but the AL is actually cheaper than the NL

Yeah this is true, Yankees, Astros, and Angels I think are only teams that require significant stubs. AL East is super cheap to do and Central is too. West is just expensive with Astros and Trout combined

Am I the only person who thinks the division rewards are pretty trash this year? I feel like last year, guys were still regularly using Nen, Joey Bats, Vida at this point in the season. I don’t feel like anyone uses the divisional rewards at all this year. Honestly, other than Gwynn, there aren’t really any that look great to me, and I never run into these guys. I know guys aren’t in it for those cards, ultimately, but it would be nice if they were a little better (hell, I’d take that 92 Giambi over any of the divisional rewards).

I do see that Stargel at 1st occasionally.
