Jackie 3 OB, 2 steal is the worst experience of the year so far for me.

1-2 hours in because I can’t bring myself to quit. How do you beat this!!

They made pickoff too overpowered. Stealing is [censored] near impossible with this.
Then when I do get something going. Quick counts are on so when I go to steal, the cpu strikes out (w 2 outs) the batter, or walks the batter. Or every time on base I have a runner in front of me.
This is beyond frustrating. This isn’t fun. It’s just dreadful.

I never took an extra step trying to steal. Just held R1 to lean towards the next base and watched the catcher. Once the catcher moves I took off. This doesn't really help for the batter walking or striking out but you shouldn't get picked off this way. Plus it goes in slow motion when the pitchers throws over anyway

I didn't even try. Maybe I'll do it if I need a veteran card for a Honus type collection, otherwise, it's just to much work for a card I won't really use.

Bunt to get on base.
Stealing second is the hard part; once there proceed to steal third.
And don’t hesitate to cancel and restart.
Also, Keep an eye on the count; doesn’t always have to be that first pitch -
I had a lot of trouble with this too. I always got one or the other. Its especially frustrating when you only need a stolen base and there are guys on in front of you.
As said above, watch the catcher to steal, as soon as he sets go, I was like 90% doing it that way.

Anyway, that challenge was a minor annoyance. The nightmares for me were 7 Total bases and 2 HR in FORBES FIELD

I try to get as many cards along the way. Because I’m almost 100% we will have something like Honus this year that will require a ton.
I also buy every (rookie, veteran, breakout, etc) gold player and a lot of the lower diamonds too. Because when this happens. A card you can buy for 2k will jump to 5-10k when they release it.
So these programs could be crucial later on. And I don’t want to have to do an insane amount. Would be nice for when they release the collection reward this year, I’m sitting with a ton of what’s needed and a lot of these programs and stuff done.

I respect that. I will never use Jackie, but I have a feeling that I will need him for a Honus type collection like last year. That collection was a huge success, so I have a feeling we will get it again, but hopefully not Honus again.

I respect that. I will never use Jackie, but I have a feeling that I will need him for a Honus type collection like last year. That collection was a huge success, so I have a feeling we will get it again, but hopefully not Honus again.
It won’t be Honus again. I think it will for sure happen and whoever it is will be a legend they didn’t announce already.
Only way to get people to lock that many cards. Especially without the ability to quicksell them this year.
