Diamond Quest's Spooky Card Rewards
-
The only thing scary about this is the potential that Bo Bichette doesnt opt out
-
Stock the lineup with all 99 switch hitters and DQ is less spooky than previously.
-
I have a spooky feeling that we will need to complete DQ to earn the Sammy Sosa card.

You actually need one or the other, but not both.
Oh, and apparently they are No Sell.
It means I am out of the spooky program after I earn McGwire.
-
They ruined a great program from last year by shrinking from one month to one week and making even worse by forcing certain modes
-
yep i hate DQ if i am playing a mode it shouldn't be a gamble if i get the card.

They at least could lock it at earning or allowing us to buy any card we want in the game
-
I despise DQ too, but guys, if you're reading this and want to complete the program, it's honestly super easy this time.
They've bumped the odds so you can still play at whatever level suits you and be able to get one of these guys within 30 minutes.
Honestly, i did four or five challenges (i did win them all, thankfully) and then got to Bichette with a 98% chance on rookie and 100% on every other difficulty.
Truly lads, give it a shot and i say that as someone who has avoided DQ all year.

I wondered if they would make the odds better but was not in a position to jump into the game and check
I just checked and the base % for each card on rookie is 80%.
-
I just realized I’ve finished half the DQ map and it’s 100% on every difficulty. So this map is super easy

I hope DQ dies a death this year, but i will give SDS credit for making these achievable for most all players.
Truly mate, if you've got the desire, give it a crack.
Go right, complete the challenges along the way (i got mostly easy ones, but no dramas if you miss one) and take Bichette.
You'd be stiff to miss him even if you failed a challenge or two along the way. -
I did I think it said 40% of the map and even failing one of the missions ended up at 100%. I made a beeline for the Kerry Wood square because it was closest, beat the Cubs on rookie and walked away with a card.
Collected it and now gave McGwire.

Good work, mate.

^this. I've been doing this all year to farm stubs, working great, usually switch between the DQ maps to make usually 80+k for the runs (only takes an hour/run).
-
To be fair, in my mind DQ was never about it being 'easy' or not, its about spending an hour slogging through it and failing your 75% roll and having to start from scratch all over again.
Sound like they made this one like the starter one at least so there shouldnt be failed rolls.
-
I like both of these cards so far.
Bichette is stacked and i enjoy Wood's arsenal.
We've had a couple of stinkers this week, but these two seem solid from my few games with both.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN they'll disconnect your session during the last stadium challenge so you lose it all and have to play again
-
@Dolenz_PSN I thought the same thing - after McGwire, who cares?
But then I wanted Randy Wood in my rotation lol.
They gave me Sosa as a reward for getting Wood.
I’ll take it.

I hate DQ, but this was extremely easy and not very time consuming.
This was a lot like the introductory one. Takes 20 minutes max. Mini challenges are easy and a direct route to the stadium gives you a 97% chance on Veteran.
