I have my doubts. Figured it would have been out already. Shame, it’s one of my favorite programs.

Extreme event is one of my favorite parts of DD. I still think it's coming out early to mid November. Any later than that and most people wouldn't even have enough time to play with the rewards /:.

I wonder if they saw engagement was down last year because they made it significantly harder to complete than the prior few years and drew the wrong conclusions?

Sat this year out and it's honestly been discouraging to see the state of DD falling further from what it once was.
Extreme has always been a really fun drop. I'm not even that good, but love the challenge. Skipping it entirely seems insane with how limited content has been, but regardless what is the point of waiting until November when the season is virtually over? There will be an onslaught of free 99s anyway with Finest coming soon.

This isn't even a guarantee. There is no team affinity, I'm assuming Finest will be like the standard cityscapes drop where half the cards, or more, are in packs. Granted this will make the cards fairly cheap. I expect a switch hitter will get the Witt treatment too.
That said, the Topps insert cards were pretty good free cards and thats probably what we can expect from the cards they do give us in Finest.

My guess is katel marte gets the Witt treatment. He is due for a 99.

I would not say he is "due" one but he will most likely get one
