Can we please add Curt Schilling to Diamond dynasty. I’m a huge fan of the game and a long time player and fortunate enough to have friends to play with. Could we please add 2001-2002 Curt schilling into the game. With other pitchers from his era and before id love to be able to play with him on diamond dynasty once again. He was money in the older games. Can we please make this happen

It's not that simple. Maybe Curt won't allow his likeness to be used. Maybe he's asking for too much
I had that High Heat 2003 game. Probably still do somewhere in my apt. -

He’s a member of the PA they do not need his permission. He doesn’t want any money. For it although I think they are required to pay some level of a fee if it’s a player no longer active on a roster -

Good Pitcher but he has been pretty divisive and controversial since leaving the game.
MLB/SDS may be more comfortable not including him.
I am not saying whether I agree or disagree but that may be the reason.

Good pitcher is an understatement, he is a Hall of Fame caliber pitcher.
He also asked to NOT be in the Hall of Fame so there is a pretty good chance he would refuse any offer SDS gave him.

I love Curt Schilling, but I think he's made some comments that may rub people the wrong way. It's probably easier for SDS to not include folks like that.
Trust me, I want him in the game as well - I just don't think it's going to happen.

Sorry, but nonsense. He made statements that 90% of the people agree with.
But, even if that wasn't the case, it has zero bearing on the man's MLB career. It took a lot of leftists sports writers to turn it into a boogieman false issue to try to hurt the man.

Regardless of what people think (and 90% is wrong), his comments got him fired. Clearly they were controversial. SDS is probably trying to avoid “offending” anyone. Similar to the backlash Fortnite got for simply having Harry Potter themed skins.
So while I too, want Schilling in the game, calling my logic “nonsense” is quite frankly, nonsense.

And how did ESPN's rating fare after firing people for such ridiculous "reasons?" People can get fired for all sorts of reasons. By no means do all people who get fired deserved firing. ESPN tanked about 55% of their once enviable viewership, to the point where carriers forced rate reductions, and this in turn forced no fewer than three mass layoffs of on air and off air personnel due to forced cost cutting.
I am deliberately avoiding mention of what Curt said. It wasn't controversial. ESPN tried to make it so and ended up cutting their own throats by those actions.

I’m just saying there was controversy around it, regardless of right or wrong.
SDS is likely being cautious. Right or wrong, not the point. Just saying why he’s likely not in the game even if it’s “free” to put him in like some folks are suggesting above.
