How Much More are You Playing? An Investigation.

We're 35 days post launch and given the new reality, I wanted to see how many more games I've played this year as compared to last.
MLB The Show 20
Release Date: 3/13/2020
35 Day Mark: 4/15/2020
Number of Games Played: 443
Conquest: 414
Events: 2
Play vs. CPU: 1 (Thanks, Kaline mission!)
Ranked: 26MLB The Show 19
Release Date: 3/25/2019
35 Day Mark: 4/28/2019
Number of Games Played: 304
Conquest: 258
Events: 29
Ranked: 17The fewer Event numbers is because last year's first 2 innings double counted Event wins instead of Ranked. (The confusing Event setup this year didn't hurt either.)
But at the end of the month, it appears COVID-19 has led to an approximate 25% increase in games played this year.

I’m leaps and bounds ahead of where I was last year at this time. The time at home has obviously contributed, but also knowing the game a little better has helped - like, I’ve been playing waaaay more online games and stuff; increased ability to work the market, etc. But I still feel waaay behind as compared to the true vets of this game.
Btw - I know you are big on the collections. I’m still 3 dang cards away from all purchase-able cards in MLBTS19 (Young, Minoso, & McCovey). How are you doing with your LS collection for MLBTS20? I’m down to 11 teams - all diamonds, about 25 to go. Good luck!

I have played more games, but not due to Covid-19. I probably have the same number of RS, BR, and conquest games that I did at this time last year. I have also played 1 vs CPU game, which is one more than last year. I have definitely played way more events games though due to the win requirements.

I've got a different process when it comes to LS collections. I won't sell any new cards I require, but I won't go and buy anyone until I've got enough to get the entire team. (So you get weird idiosyncrasies like owning Cole but not having any interest whatsoever in going after the Yankees right now.)
Just today, I finished the AL Central which gives me 11 teams done with enough cash in the bank (210K) to finish 10 others if I wanted to (but I'd rather keep that as flip money right now.)
Technically on pace to finish collections mid-August, but with flipping picking up and bigger stub bonuses (via XP, TA, programs, etc), it'll probably be more realistic around early-mid July.

I have one team/player left in the AL. I have 30 of all the NL and about half way done. I am saving up some stubs but I really dont want to buy trout right now
