I know I'm terrible at online modes.

I do well playing offline conquest and miniseason mainly (I've played the WBC miniseason 132 times) but when I play online which I only do to claim 10K XP to finish an inning program. I should play other players at similar skill levels(even on events). It can't be fun for them to play someone that they beat so easily. this is what keeps people from embracing online modes. I play on veteran and all-star offline and am more than happy but with lack of content coming out they are forcing online on everyone.

They got rid of that quite a while ago. I think all star break was the end of cards locked in mini seasons
I was on a pretty good streak of playing the game again, but the inning drop with no offline content drove me away once more. But hey, heres weekend classic followed by multiplayer track and an event. I get that online content now dries up until the next inning, so in the end nobody is really happy.
This inning format (2025/2026 model) is absolute [censored].

I’m awful online and I don’t enjoy it at all. I realized last night that I’m not even playing it for a reward like past events where you get a card you could buy in the market. I have 3x every card I could want or need, packs that would take more time to open then they’re worth. I’d even play diamond quest for a card I couldn’t get elsewhere. Conquest, mini season. The only cards out of reach though are weekend classic rewards because I’m so bad online, so I just buy those in the marketplace. Playing for spotlight packs after completing all lightning collections is lame. It’s great for those that are trying to finish lightning collections, but there should be some other things to be playing for.

Forgot to mention - the info for the current event says it goes until September 15th! So that means 8 more days of this event with the spotlight pack rewards. I thought events run 3-5 days. Anyways, sometime I have a shot at winning after I’ve lost 1 game. It’s rarely an enjoyable mode to play for me.
