No major content two weeks in a row?
-
Logged in for the first time this inning. Saw today's calendar was only spotlight, is that right?
Pipeline was good content but not three weeks worth of content.
People that play other sports game will mostly play those games either way, but still an odd choice to have a major content drought as NBA and NHL both are launching.
If I am playing devils advocate, now that they are releasing 99s they kind of need to pace themselves. They still have 3 to 4 months left for content drops. If we get all the Griffey and Mantle 99s now in big content drops there will be nothing left come November.
We have Spotlight, a new event and a new conquest today. It's the end of the month Spotlight so it is a little longer than normal
All the more reason why we should still be doing 96s and 97s now, not 99s.
But as you know all 99s aren't created equal, no reason they couldn't do a low 99 Reds Griffey now and an endgame one in November.

my biggest issue with this game content wise, is waiting on content, hoping there is a player or two you want to use and when there isn’t it’s such a deflater, this year has been that way for me. I just wish that i was more of PCA, Dustin May, Ian Happ Willie Castro guy over a Eck, Goose, Lee Smith and Willie Mays guy, because it’s getting annoyingly frustrating at this point.

The complaints would just shift to "Same Old Cards. How Many 99s does a player need?"
If we were still at 97s and 98s then a different group pf players would begin complaining about No 99s during the All Star Break.
There is nothing they can do that will please everyone. No pace that they can set not matter how aggressive or conservative that will satisfy all. Should they strive for those goals? Yes, but they will never achieve them.
-
One thing I always thought would be cool, was if they did a "1 Hit Wonder" program and card series. Players that had one great year and then virtually disappeared/dropped off. Tony Batista, Justin Smoak, Alek Manoah, Rick Ankiel, Roger Maris, Brady Anderson, Bob Hamelin et all

Its not just about the cards. Surely there is a better way to have us work for Buxton/Devries than simply 'use a subset of cards for 100 hours'. #1 fan grind is the same way. Having some sub goals along the way is important for keeping a long grind engaging.
Its like a RPG making you earn all the 1-50 experience at lvl 1 and taking you directly to 50 without the incremental progress along the way.

This game should come out every 2 years. There is no reason (other than sDS greed) to have this game every year. They make no changes to gameplay, graphics, common bugs, and the same boring content. If they did a go fund me to hire some real devs, I am sure people would donate. I love baseball and wish that another company would make a good game. SDS with their tone depth approach to the bots, cheating, bugs, terrible gameplay is just getting old.

Brady Anderson
Dude, he was one of my favorite players on those Orioles teams.
-
I just need my 99 Griffey. Please be the 9/18 collection
(it’s definitely going to be a pitcher though, isn’t it?) -
The biggest issue for me is not the amount of content, it's the timing and spacing.
We get a glut of stuff all at one, then nothing but routine Topps Now/Spotlight for weeks.
The cadence has been wrong all year and it makes zero sense.

I got a bunch of deluxe premier and ultra packs ready too

What about Phil Nevin?

@Teak2112_MLBTS
This game sucks bad this year, they are more worried about their stupid mobile game.
Major waste of money
