80-90IP to diamond mod a reliever?

I’ve been struggling to P5 pitchers in general. And of the ones I have, I think only Felix has enough innings for a mod.
I love the idea of parallel mods, but I do think they need an adjustment for next year. For instance, +9 for a full power mod doesn’t move the needle enough for me. Make it like +12 or something.

Wasn't it always easier to P5 at least starting pitchers in the past?

Yeah I agree it’s preposterous, especially considering the rate in which pitchers are phased out as better ones come. It’s nearly impossible to reach the diamond mods with any pitchers ESPECIALLY relivers

I have a lot of P5 pitchers and the only ones that have enough stats to actually mod are Felix and Anibal Sanchez because they were in my rotation for so long. The stat requirements are a joke for pitchers.

I'm sure they'll adjust next year (I would prefer they went back to last years model, though) but i'm disappointed they didn't act on the feedback this year. -

I think it's flawed, not explained properly and as a result people use them ineffectively.

I couldn’t care less how other people use them. It gives us significantly more control over building our teams. That’s a good thing. They should get rid of a good thing because you don’t understand them? Get out of here.

Mods + the blur have been incredible. I do wish we could do even more with the mods though. Like give me 12 power each side and 0 to fielding attributes.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL Exactly. More mods is the right progression. You could make something like +12 power to each side with nothing else and harder stat requirements. Going backwards is a terrible idea, but SDS does stuff like that all the time.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah like for instance I want Pedroia to be my 2B but I’m horrible with the contact archetype. Let me hit like 50 homers with him and get some red diamond unlock where he gets 12-15 power if I want and it takes away the +2 in other places that I don’t care about.

Start them. Use them as openers. In 9 inning games if you're economical enough with your pitch count you can get 4- maybe 5 innings out of a reliever. At least that's how I get the innings done.

I agree with this 100%. People complain about a lot of things then SDS adjusts. For instance - call me crazy but I loved having to grind all the different modes to finish collections.
Now I can just buy the cards. Boring.
