Remember when stadium creator got updates?

Look at the choices/options available in MVP '05...this was BEFORE the walls got their polish with the '06 release.
First, I still have my copy of MVP. I played it right up until people stopped making total overhauls/roster updates a few years back.
Second, all the stadium creator stuff in MVP was just templates. You couldn't actually move/make anything. You just picked which stuff you wanted and they pasted it together for you. If you want MLBTS to be like that, they could put something like that together in a few weeks.

Make us buy upgrades. All us diehards will spend $.

Should've used 6 instead of 5 in honor of Jayden Daniels.

I would pay full game price for an independent release of something similar to the dev toolkit.

I would as well. Considering the code for it already exists in full, it seems like a rather easy way for SDS to make money. But, they want the control of the game more than even that money!

Are you arguing a specific point? If you are I don't see it. I was pointing out the sheer amount of choices/options available with regards to templates, wall texture, background settings etc. They didn't add individual wall/section/panel adjustments and movement until the NCAA '06 game...so a combination of both would be awesome.
I would accept the trade off of losing the ability to move the panels on a few conditions: They add all kinds of templates(including the foul ground), they add more detail texture options for the wall(proper ivy, better looking brick etc),and the elimination of deadspace/no-go zone.

@Sarge1387_PSN That is exactly what I was saying. The trade off between options and ability.
I'm not saying one is better than the other, that is all a personal preference. I'm saying you can't have your cake and eat it, too.

I remember 'building' stadiums with MVP and I much prefer the MLBTS stadium creator.
But, I agree with you 100%. I would love some kind of hybrid. Give us templates for things like foul grounds, bullpens and domes etc., but still allow us to build all the stuff beyond the walls and such.
-
To piggyback on Sarge's apropos points ...
The option to use different templates that are based on realistic stadium setups is vastly better than being forced into using a single layout that has zero presence in modern much less historic baseball parks.
I realize there is little point in discussing things with someone whose online ID evokes a flatulence issue, but when it comes right down to it, it appears someone is desperate to find any straw to grasp to defend SDS when their policies are utterly defenseless.

The updates I want them to make are probably updates. No one else wants. I want more wind direction and speed. Also elevation as actual factor with also heat as well. You could set your Park cemetery in California to be 60° in real life where you're from. Not you know 80 or 90 but actual heat humidity is a factor as well. I also would like to see more grass types and colors. Are wetter dirt look on the infield when the game starts? Also the ability to use the old school bags like in the negro leagues use the old old classic baseball bags or new bags. Small stuff like that would be nice. Obviously moving the bull pins to the outfield will be a bit nicer as well. Maybe even weather like in Colorado snow. Maybe if you have a Crater stadium in Colorado extreme weather such as that would be a factor as well. Might be a fun game playing in the snow

@sds_joek_psn can we pass this on to the Devs. Heck, there's even time to do test runs on it this year. We know the team's been split but this is stuff that really should already be in the mode itself.
