Decreasing Ohtani/Judge Odds
-
@Dolenz_PSN the main argument was that they can manipulate odds anytime they want. And im saying they do. How do we know they didnt manipulate and change these odds months ago and just now disclosed it. Waiting till now at the end of the game cycle to disclose it. So they didnt lose money of course. What else are they manipulating? I no longer trust them. Period.
Arguments towards me were that the odds were posted so they cannot manipulate them. This proves they can change them anytime they want, and manipulate them.
So now how do we know they didnt manipulate other odds for a period of time and then switched them back? We dont know. Do you trust them now?

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Because you can literally look up the odds instead of trying to call me a liar.
Where in my post did I call you a liar?
I just asked if the info you read, and subsequently reposted, was from a reputable source or from one of the "tin hat" conspiracy theorists that post random words because they havent been able to pull Judge or Ohtani.
You asked and then subsequently answered the question on your own. You can play semantics all you want.

Regulatory Scrutiny: In the US, the FTC monitors these monetization models; companies that use deceptive practices or fail to disclose the real odds of chance-based items risk severe penalties.
Looks like I'll be updating my complaint from last week.
Does anyone have or can tell me how to get a screenshot of the original odds?

I posted this Graphic way back early in the year when there were a limited number of diamonds. It specifically shows Ohtani at .008
Judge was also at .008 with Ortiz and Machado at .004 each to reach that .016% rate

Why do I have a sneaky feeling that this happened when they started the stub sale?
Keep the 2 gatekeepers marketplace value sky high. Sell stubs 50% off. No one is going to pay cash for enough stubs to buy Judge and/or Ohtani but they might buy enough for a 50 pack. -
Did it change for Ohtani when he went up to a 95 for the odds?
-
Here is the issue. I dont think you can change odds, mid game cycle when people are spending money and buying packs based on said odds. But I dont know. They definitely are manipulating things.

I don't that is the cause because Judge and Alvarez are both also at .006% odds.
The odds are going to change throughout the year for some of these.
If they have a roster update and add 6 new diamonds and only downgrade 3 diamonds to gold then some odds will be changed among the individual diamonds to maintain that 2% chance of a getting a diamond.
Nobody pays that close of attention to what cards get added or removed from standard packs that could affect odds of individual cards.
Still not a fan of the move though.

I mean, I wasn’t pulling them anyway. Especially not out of a standard pack.

This is what I was thinking, but everything I found just talked a mobile gaming. I did find something that said players must be notified if drop/pull odds change in China or India, maybe South Korea, too. But that doesn't do us any good.
I know what they can't do is list 12.5% odds for pulls out of an Ultra pack then give you a Bunny pack that doesn't even have listed odds andt is worth less then half of a 5 card Ultra pack. That much I was told for a fact and was asked tto send proof of. (Which I had.)

@KenKen71412_MLBTS interesting. Please let me know the results.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL FWIW, my Ohtani and 3 x Judge all came from standards.
They have been far, far better for me than BIAH packs despite more than three times the odds.
