Decreasing Ohtani/Judge Odds
-
SDS decreased the odds to pull these cards out of standard packs from 1 in 12,500 to 1 in 16,667
-
I am Aaron judge away and won’t buy
Not wasting my stubs on his card
-
I double checked and the odds have decreased. Seems to me that they want to keep them rare and expensive
-
All I can say to this is, WOW. They have given players one middle finger after another this year and it’s like they are going out of their way to do it.
-
If true, this should tell even the most ardent SDS fans of both of their priorities and the sharp diminution of quality.

I looked up their numbers on the SDS site where they list the odds for all packs.
In a standard Show pack it went from .008% to . 006%, which is indeed a jump from 1 in 12,500 to 1 in 16,666.7
The only justification, if there even is one, would be if they bettered the odds in other common packs like Ballin is a Habit.

What a disgusting slap in the face to your customer this game and studio has become.

And..........

-
How in the world can the people in charge of this game decide to decrease the drop rate of those two cards in August, especially after the complete and utter disaster this game has been this year.
It would be disgraceful practice at any time, but doing so half way through the year after nothing but problems and disappoint with this game is laughably out of touch.
I truly cannot wait to never purchase this game again. The server issues, the menu issues, the god awful RNG gameplay, the crappy switch hitting meta.
What a disgusting slap in the face to your customer this game and studio has become.
How do we know that the person who posted this, on the internet, has the correct facts?
We dont. Its all skepticism.

But SDS said they don't manipulate the market

-
@Dolenz_PSN Dear god, man, it's worse than i expected.
Incredibly disappointing but not unexpected.
Only anecdotal, of course, but my diamond drop rate has been significantly better with the 1:50 base packs than it has been with the 1:15 BIAH.

Same. In fact, i've switched to the 'Here comes the Judge' bat skin to kind of subconsciously draw his card to me.
Gotta pull out all the stops, lol.
I'm even doing the May Flowers map for the 20 packs. Who knows, a CHASE pack may pop out of it. Maybe. -
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Because you can literally look up the odds instead of trying to call me a liar.

Where in my post did I call you a liar?
I just asked if the info you read, and subsequently reposted, was from a reputable source or from one of the "tin hat" conspiracy theorists that post random words because they havent been able to pull Judge or Ohtani.

You can see the odds of the players in packs that they (sds) provide in the shop. I assume that number changed so no tin foil hat necessary. Also, while I haven't personally gone online to confirm, dolenz also agreed and shared the exact numbers in a response. Trying to be objective here, but it did seem like you were calling out the op.

Did you miss my post where I said that I verified the numbers by looking up the odds on SDS's own website?

This is very sad. It seems as if the monetization is getting the better of them. I truly hope they balanced it out increasing the odds on other packs. Still pretty $hitty.

I told you all they were manipulating odds 3 months ago. And they were to some degree. Youll never convince me otherwise. This proves they can change and manipulate odds whenever they see fit. Some of you argued with me about that also.
You all smack talked me. Called me a tin foil hat wearer. I could tell by my own pack openings they manipulated the s h I t out of them. Not hard to figure out and see.
They probably changed these odds months ago and are just now disclosing it. This company is full of
. And absolutely disgusting.Whats even more bothering is how naive some of you are. Thinking they would not do something like this.

The difference is that this is verifiable from their own site and documentation.
Your claims, whether they were right or wrong, were anecdotal in nature. Those of us who have been around years have seen such an extreme amount of anecdotal claims stated as facts that we are leery and mistrusting of almost all of them.
If I remember that discussion my argument against the manipulation was the published odds on their website which specifically for these two players had not changed. I think I even did a breakdown with an infographic of the odds.
This was the same exact website that I used to verify that the original poster's claim was true.
-
@Dolenz_PSN the main argument was that they can manipulate odds anytime they want. And im saying they do. How do we know they didnt manipulate and change these odds months ago and just now disclosed it. Waiting till now at the end of the game cycle to disclose it. So they didnt lose money of course. What else are they manipulating? I no longer trust them. Period.
Arguments towards me were that the odds were posted so they cannot manipulate them. This proves they can change them anytime they want, and manipulate them.
So now how do we know they didnt manipulate other odds for a period of time and then switched them back? We dont know. Do you trust them now?

You asked and then subsequently answered the question on your own. You can play semantics all you want.
