In case SDS doesn’t understand what we are asking for, here’s the translation:

SDS, what you do in the Final Inning/Forever Program, START DOING NOW…..

Look, I have all collections done NMS but that's largely to do with luck.

This year I have grinded the same way I did last year (and had a similar time commitment).
    I don't "invest".

This time last year I had every card in the game and a surplus of stubs (with very little pack luck).
Now, if i wanted every good card in the game I'd need to find 5.5M stubs (and that's with significantly better pack luck).

That tells you all you need to know about how much more predatory this game has become, even in 12 months.

At this point in the year, there should be better pack odds or more guarantees.

This vault pack in new mini season should be a guaranteed chase OR headliner card, period. It’s August. What are we doing SDS?

The Chase pack in the flash sale. Should have been a “random” Chase pack with a guaranteed Chase OR guaranteed choice Chase pack between two random Chase cards.

I’m sick of getting 85 live series cards in these packs.

I got a whole LS PCA for my vault pack grinding for 70 hits. Just another unrewarding waste of time.

Im not saying it's not expensive, these are cards you will use for a long time, but if you kept up with getting cards as we went along, it wasn't too bad. If you're just starting now, yes, you need to spend a lot of money. There were flash sales on packs where alot of the cards were around 20-75k.

I play with who ever I get as I progress.

If I chase pitches outside the zone I lose.

If I get to hitters counts i have a shot.

    No matter the player.

I hit the same with LS Yordan as I do with his 99.

The coding of the game is not that specific.

    Chase no cards.
    Just play and enjoy.

    You will be better off.

I’ve been playing Diamond Dynasty for years and if you grinded enough, you could eventually earn the best cards.

    This year feels completely different.

For me to get Carlos Beltrán would be near impossible without shelling out a ridiculous amount of money.

I added up the cost to complete the remaining collections and it came out to roughly 8.9 million stubs!

I’m not asking for every card to be free. I’m asking for the game to be worth the time.

If someone has completed invested hours into DD, they should have a realistic path to earning elite cards through gameplay. Right now, it feels like grinding has become secondary to buying packs or accumulating millions of stubs.

I will repeat I am playing online now which I never did before and have been strictly offline

I finished collections when they had seasons I haven’t finished a single major collection since

This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. Even when the rewards are 'rewarding' they don't feel like it. It's not the 'hell yeah, I done it feeling'. It's the 'thank God that's over with' feeling.
I honestly couldn't tell you the last time this game gave me a legit, Hell Yeah fist pump moment. Which to me are what sports and sports games are all about.

I spend a lot of time on mmo's when im not playing the show, so the grind on this game doesn't even phase me. You all are complaining about needing a couple months to get a card. Meanwhile, ive got some ff14 achievements that I've been working on for years. You all know nothing about real grinding lol

@whitejw98_PSN Lol, I come from a lifetime of rpg playing too - and I agree, sports gamers rarely appreciate the idea of grinding and "slow team building" like rpg vets do.

Sports games turn over every year, with really only the seasons worth of content. I don't play RPGs but I know some of those last years. You're not wrong our patience is a little short, but it almost has to be.

I think it was '24, basically from mid-August onward the packs were JUICED. I never hit more high price diamonds than I did the last few months of that game

I feel this, but for different reasons.
I loved the old format... conquest + mini seasons + DQ + packs to finish programs. It made you have to grind for the main collection card of the program.
For the last program, I played 2 event games + most of the moments... dropped in some buy orders, and had Adley. I couldn't care less about grinding mini seasons for packs - I already have all the stubs I need. So unless you're going to make me grind, I'm not going to.... (but I want to, if that makes any sense at all... there just hasn't been a reason for it).

    Absolutely.
I get they go for quantity over quality (we get so many free packs), but when you're in the middle of August and you've pulled one 3000 stub diamond in your last 70 Ballin is a Gold packs, something is seriously imbalanced.

Given the vast, vast majority of live series diamonds are close to quick sell, not changing the odds is heinous.

Honestly, I only get this feeling during online games where I come back from being down a lot and hit a walk off in the bottom of the 9th lol. The one below was bottom of the 12 and I've never been in a game like it before but when I won, I literally celebrated lol.

Thankfully that wasn't a mini-seasons game because you burnt through some arms. Lol

But that's exactly what I mean. That obviously wasn't an easy game but I'm sure it was fun. And that's enough of reward. Not like when we have to do these missions and every batter is a 3-2 count with 8 foul balls.

BTW, if Lucky Cats is a play on the Kentucky Wildcats, I'll just say Go Vols!

Haha that was ranked seasons and yeah I was out of arms and desperate lol. My icon is a Japanese lucky cat so it's based off of that but I'm all for college rivalries 🙂

Hey, it worked because you shut them down after Baker. I could imagine your opponent going crazy. After scoring 16 in 6.2 then 1 in the next 5.1.
Couldn't agree more about college rivalries. Unfortunately greed and politics are finding their way in but it's still hard to beat.
