For the first time since I started playing MLBTS (2007 I think), I'm considering not playing next year. I see all the posts out here every year about "I'm not buying next year, blah, blah, blah", and I think "I'll never get to that point".
I'm getting close.
With the "glitch", then the response by SDS that they were taking action, then the apparent "non-action", coupled with the myriad of problems (market bots, various other glitches in the game that continue from year to year, more monetization, etc.), I might be done for a cycle.
"Might". If you see me here on the forums in 2027, remember I said "might".
But I am thinking about it, which I've never done before.

The fact he can create more accounts isn't anywhere near the point. The fact they (apparently) haven't done a d@mn thing about the account he did use- which they absolutely will know- and the countless others who did the glitch, is the problem.

True. At least if I saw he had a new username while playing, and had to buy all of his cards again, I'd feel better. But I don't think that happened (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Personally I think the exploit is meaningless as most show packs are. SDS has done zero innovation this year and every program is the same, it's a garbage product. I'm a diehard and been playing over 10 years but I checked out 2 weeks ago and won't be back next year. They do zero to address any issues in the game whatsoever.

If they banned the pack glitch people, then they would have had to ban the players using glitched pitchers. If you don’t understand, those pitchers help led obtain rewards, which means they abused something that goes against their rules. They chose money over banning people.

Personally I think the exploit is meaningless as most show packs are.
If it was so meaningless then why, according to your game history, did you do it roughly 80 times, earning 800 packs, and 80 Ballin is a Habit packs?? 0-0 losses to Team Australia
Seems strange to lose sleep, doing something over and over again when it is meaningless.

And your glitched pitcher excuse is a rationalization and not a justification. The two are not even close to comparable.

Sad because it's that easy to ascertain what players exploited and SDS still chooses to ignore it anyway. It's just proof that they genuinely don't care about competitive balance.
If they are ok with the obvious exploit, we have zero chance they'll address other forms of cheating.

This is one of the most positive cool dudes on here. We know we have a problem now.
I loved this game so much in 2021-2024 but it’s been going downhill since. This year there have been really unforgivable issues. I am still restricted on the app. I am not a bot, I have never been a bot. I am sometimes a little boring but otherwise, I was officially penalized for flipping cards. I opened a ticket and got a response saying that I am a bot and my restriction is permanent. Since that happened, I have completely lost interest in this game.
SDS does not care about its customers. It’s a shame but clearly very evident.

I don think it's him in particular they're afraid of, I think it's streamers in general. They're afraid of losing the free advertising, because they think streamers represent the majority of players.
I think they're afraid of the backlash that would be broadcast if they do.
Said it before and I'll keep saying it. Streamers and cheaters have absolutely ruined online gaming. Don't get me wrong there are some good streamers but they are few and far between. Sony/Microsoft let cheating get way out of hand. I don't blame the devs for the 3rd party devices as those should have been handled a long time ago by Sony and Microsoft. I find it very hard to believe that 2 multi billion dollar companies couldn't have stopped this easily.
@wahhill627_xbl is right. Competitive integrity has been gone for a long time in gaming. You really have no idea who is legit these days. Cheat devices are so prevalent these days who can blame people for thinking cheater.
