Gotta love how they make a positive change everyone is asking for and then quietly make it less rewarding when the game has been a disaster all year. At this point, you can really only laugh at all the bad decisions. It’s just one after another after another with nothing positive in between. All Star content has historically been very good. This is pathetic.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah unfortunately I have to agree with you. So bad. 15k xp for 1/6 of a wheel spin!! What a joke. This is way worse then 9 innings for 1/6. 9 innings is equivalent to lets say 3k xp. Now they want 15k!! How out of touch are these guys?
I thought it was 15k xp for a wheel spin. Which is what it should be.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL 15k PXP for a wheel spin wouldn’t be bad. I wonder if that how they meant to do it and they are just incompetent. Either that or it’s just pure greed. I say both. Usually they loosen up rewards as the year goes on and they are going the other way.

@GoozeFn_PSN 15k for a wheel spin makes sense. Considering one ranked game is somewhere around 3k. Thats five ranked games. Equivalent to the innings.

This has to be intentional by SDS to get people to stop playing… there’s no way they can be this stupid right? Who works there? Do they have basic baseball knowledge and a simple understanding of playing video games?

Yep. Just making it worse for a portion of the fanbase for no reason. If you're not good at the plate like me, this is right about 3X less experience. Instead of hitting it every three games, it will take me closer to ten games.
I'm about done with SDS at this point. I'll finish up this year and then find something else. They're just crapping on us at this point. They're either extremely tone deaf or just don't really care about pissing us off.

I've said it before, this year has been next to nothing but a series of steps backwards and poor optics.

I like this change. Now I don't have to worry about changing pitchers mid-inning just to try and get the inning pitched to count, or have it stop counting mid-game if I only had a few innings left that were needed.
15k takes a lot longer for us bad players than 9 innings pitched
Sir 15K PXP takes longer for pretty much anyone unless they’re on legend ranked and hitting tanks.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL this seems like it’s gonna bring out the cheaters even more I liked the 9 ip cause anybody could do it. If anything this move benifits cheaters if I could think about this and the company that makes the game could not that’s sad. I’m totally prepared to face cheaters when I hop into ranked later.

What encourages cheating is the lack of consequences.
I mean, find me a single person who got a ban for exploiting the WBC Mini Season to the tune of 1000's of free packs?
Without consequences for the cheaters the only ones getting punished are the honest players.

Yeah. I'm still pissed about this. They said they would take action and did absolutely nothing.
I'm really mad that it happened, but even more upset at the way they "handled" it.
They've basically confirmed it's ok to exploit and cheat and they don't care. -
I’m holding out hope that they’ve devoted their resources to AllStar content.
Once this is over, they need to start LOUDLY and PUBLICLY banning the folks that abused the WBC exploit. I’ll let SDS determine their definition of “abuse”. But, if it’s not LOUD and PUBLIC, my purchase next year will be on the table.
This company’s integrity and trust is on the line, IMO.

Yeah sadly they don’t care and we all know it. This year has been one disappointment after another. They can’t get out of their own way and the mistakes are mounting big time. I gotta believe this year is going to drive away a lot of long term honest players and if baseball is on strike to start 27 the game will be in major trouble.
During Covid the franchise was still in really good standing with most of the community but this time around if the season is delayed indefinitely it will be a whole different thing. I feel it will give people that have soured on the game all the more reason to walk away, many for good.

Agreed. I typically concentrate on one sports game a year. I tried Madden for the first time in a while. Their MUT is kinda meh. Didn’t hold my attention. The Show, I’ve played since 21. It seems to have “lost its way”. Lots of posts why and I agree with most of them. It needs to rediscover its “roots and heart “.
Been watching WC a lot, maybe I’ll venture back into FIFA.

Here's the wild thing about this multiplayer path, and I didn't realize it until too late.
If youre a pretty good player, you could've played for the 10 hours after the path came out and nuked the entire multiplayer path (shoot, if youre an elite player - probably wouldnt even take 10 hours). Then sell the rewards and make close to a million stubs. If you're not as good of a player, its going to take you WAY longer (to the point where its useless, because youre racing the clock). Thats pretty annoying.
I realized this two days late, but still got about 300k stubs.
