Will SDS come out with an apology?

It won’t happen mid season but if they adjust their server logic (even using relay servers), it may solve most of the issues.
I personally haven’t had a ton of trouble other than some market problems (which they resolved) and the servers / peer to peer connections being bad.
I can deal with all the other bugs people complain about.

Will SDS come up with some free packs and stubs? I mean how many people won’t even be able to finish the inning program, the event, or the multiplayer program because they didn’t even have a playable game.
Honestly most of the content should just be free at this point to make up for how poorly this game has performed.

The heck is this thread on about? Will we get an official SDS apology? No, of course not. They don’t need to. I have seen more effort from SDS trying to fix this year’s game than any sports video game maybe ever. The issue is that every issue gets ramped up to a 100 by stupid [censored] comments and posts.
There are bugs in The Show for sure. But even when SDS fixes the bugs, you all complain about the fixes.
And sorry, if you’re not able to complete the innings the way they’ve adjusted the last two, that’s on you at this point.

Not a chance, they knew the game was a disaster and took our $$$, I will not be back next year. Going to have fun with GTA 6

@JDHalfrack_PSN but people here will tell you its never on the player - the player is always right, and should get everything in the game immediately with no work or effort on their part.

@unliveablechris_PSN If they were to give an apology then they would have to acknowledge that their servers were down at any point. They do not even make statements saying they are working on a fix. They just had a double xp weekend and 80% of the playerbase wasn't able to play Sunday and nobody knows why. So no apology but I do think they have one guy working on servers and 56 people working on content. They want money not a great game.

@JDHalfrack_PSN exactly what fixes are you talking about? The ones that they created that break the game quite literally everytime there is an update. Or maybe you are talking about the Josh Hayden thing? This has been a thing for YEARS, and their fix was just giving him someone else's wind up. Or maybe you love getting the same cards with different names while doing the same exact program as every other content drop? Or maybe you like opening 100 packs and being lucky to even get a single diamond and 13 gold cards. I am just completely dumbfounded when people come in the forums and tell people that they need to stop complaining when thats what forums are made for. I'm glad you think the game is great but it just isn't. You must play Road to the show bc if you been on Diamond Dynasty on any given day you would want to pull your hair out.

Everyone is out here acting like the game never functions. Game is still great. Servers have issues and go down more than they should but SDS works around the clock to do what they can with limited resources.
Guarantee they’ll have a server fix for ‘27. May need to get more budget from Sony for it to happen though.

Ummm.... excuse me I completed this and the last inning, I completed LS Collection, I am 2 vouchers from Milestone Miggy, a little over halfway to V Mart, I got Retro Chipper, will have Retro Tatis today or tomorrow, working on completing WBC collection and also working on collecting the foam finger icons which I am no where close to finishing. In saying that your that statement was a miscalculated assumption, for me and probably many others. and yes they do owe us an apology. When one of my crews screw a job up, besides consequences for the foreman, there is an apology to the customer and we go back out and fix the job; sometimes we have to give somethings up for free, why? To make the customer happy, why? We want their repeat business, we want to gain their trust, even when things didn't go right, we made it right. Because without customers nobody will have a job. It's called good customer service. It's also called accountability; get some SDS.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL thats like saying I bet I will move into a million dollar house in 2027. Then ask the people that currently own the house (parents) you live in for a raise on your allowance. The game is great and we are all here bc we love it. SDS no longer loves the game and thats the problem.

I think this is closer to the real problem. When they brought in an almost entirely new staff a few years ago, the passion for the game itself just wasn’t there.

They are about making money. No real love for baseball and it shows.

I mean it is blatantly obvious that none of the devs play the game outside of work. If any of them did then no chance the menu lag would have been a thing as long as it was. Or any bug for that matter. If you love your game then you want to fix it. They do the opposite and just introduce more problems weekly while doing maintenance every other month. Thats a losing recipe.
