@Pergo_MLBTS I’m kinda getting a feeling that the June lightning maybe a better card then the retro. like I know from past Mullins cards have nice swings typically 5 tool players but for where my team is at I can justify spending the stubs on this card. because he won’t replace Willi figgins j ram or polonco and doesn’t fit my Sox tt. I think this will be like a last month situation as where miz was the Much better card than tatis I still see miz every 3 ish games but tatis I rarely see. I know for me miz had a much longer shelf life then tatis. I feel like they leaked retro and saved this months lightning for a reason.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I’m actually pretty surprised too but I can’t say I’m not stoked about it. He had a crazy month. Plus a good PCA card is easily one of the best CFs in the game.

@MRAD2010_XBL I love pca cards always rake with them even tho pci feels small. All started with his egg hunt last year ever since then I’ve loved him his wbc card was very had for me to take out of the lineup this year.

@Teak2112_MLBTS The guys been raking all year and is a gold glove. Should have had something before All Star and the fact that Kirk is ahead of him in All-Star just shows that a lot of people don't know baseball. A popularity contest.

Does he deserve to be an all-star? Yes, absolutely
Do I have enough faith in the all-star selection process to say he will be there 100%? Not really. There are worthy snubs every year.
I am not a Detroit fan and I don't really care about Dingler but I am rooting for him to make the team because he really did deserve a card for June and I can understand fans disappointment.

I just find it hard to believe that the guy with the 4th highest WAR in all of baseball for hitters isn't going to make the team. And there isnt a catcher, other than Shea who will win vote, that has any semblance of an argument

I find it hard to believe he would not make it either.
But, he could get injured. Player voting might favor someone else, the commissioner additions could be used for an older, more establised players.
I'm just enough of a cynic to to maintain a little seed of doubt
