@Sarge1387_PSN realistically there doesn’t always need to be offline option for certain online rewards. But they could make an online/offline br. Since it’s mode that it’s viable at this time.

I do think all rewards should be available to everyone. To me, I feel like they've already solved this problem by the fact that every program has it's own "stars" system. Why not just make every card that can be earned via in game actions just be earned via "stars".

Let's use Joe Mauer. Right now, he's only available via the miniseasons. Instead just make it part of program, or something similar. Say you need 150 stars (✪ 150) to get him. Fine, make it possible to get those stars in a number of ways.

    Miniseasons

    • 20,000 PXP using any players while playing within the Gauntlet Mini Seasons - ✪ 150

    Battle Royale

    • 45 IP in BR - ✪ 75
    • 120 PA in BR - ✪ 75

    Events

    • Hit 11 HR in Event games - ✪ 15
    • Get 47 RBI in Event games - ✪ 30
    • Get 62 Runs in Event games - ✪ 45
    • Get 212 TB in Event games - ✪ 60

    Co-op

    • Actually join and stay in a co-op game for more than 5 innings - ✪ 150 (a little brevity here 🙂 )

    Moments

    • Joe Mauer started off the 2013 season with 3 hits in the Twins first game. Recreate his hot start by getting 3 hits against his division foes, the Tigers. - ✪ 5
    • Joe Mauer's first home run of the 2013 season came 8 games in when he blasted a HR in his first at bat of the game. Hit a HR to get the game started with a bang. - ✪ 5
    • Joe Mauer hit his 100th career homerun on June 8, 2013. Relive that career milestone by launching one over the fence to take the lead! - ✪ 5
    • Joe Mauer was batting .320 with a .402 on-base percentage and already had 32 multi-hit games heading into the 2013 All-Star break. Get on base 2 times showcasing Mauer's on-base threat. - ✪ 5
    • Joe Mauer singled in his final All-Star game on July 16, 2013. Relive the moment by getting a base hit in this last All-Star appearance. - ✪ 5
    • Joe Mauer's last career game as a catcher came on August 19, 2013 in which he had two base hits including a double in his final at bat that season. Get 2 hits, including an XBH to recreate the capstone of this Silver Slugger's season - ✪ 5
    • (And so on - I feel there would need to be a LOT of moments)

Basically, the idea is simple. I will not speak to the complexity of actually implementing it, nor will I speculate why they haven't implemented it like this already.

@JDHalfrack_PSN if they make those mini seasons /conquest cars buyable on the market like they do with online cards sure. But it’s also nice that they tried to make an exclusive program. Not everyone needs to get the exact same thing everytime.

I think ALL cards earnable in game should be buyable. I meant to include that in my post.

And in a game that we all purchased for the same amount expecting to get the same stuff, yes, all users should get the exact same thing in some way.

@JDHalfrack_PSN you can buy the Acuna that was apart of this new idea. Any card should be buyable yes.

Matchmaking. Period. Fix this and more inexperienced players might make it more than a game or two.

I actually enjoyed my first few BR runs. I didn't win much but it was fun. Then I kept just being outclassed. I know I'm not great but I don't enjoy the reminder.

It’s this and it will always be this. This game has a decade old match making system that wasn’t good to begin with. When I play BR for missions I just lose the first game on purpose and I know I get 5 terrible players on a row. Then I redraft and do the same thing. Why bother going for a 3.5k LS card when I can manipulate the match making in my favour every time

I think everyone misses the br program rewards.

I started out 2 and 0 last night. Played a 1000 rated player game three of course. I was doing great. He ended up beating me 8 to 7. I hit into a perfect perfect double play and he got 3 of his runs on bloop hits. This cannot happen vs a 1000 rated player. Made me so mad. Just cannot happen! I dont know how anyone goes 10 and 0 when you factor in RNG.

Some skill, some luck and that magical internet that makes legend look like veteran.

@jdhalfrack_psn I glanced at but like your idea.
    I had a different one.
For the cityscapes mural and vintage programs they had CQ, DQ,program, MS and an event program to get the cards, my idea is that instead of the event program for 1 card, they take that card and also add it to mini seasons(unsellable) and change the event program to all the cards from miniseasons, same missions in the event as the miniseasons and the cards would be unsellable like the miniseasons, that way CPU ppl could get them in miniseasons and H2H ppl could get them in the event, and those that do both could choose which one to get them from.

I quite like this idea. You could make it a choice of either the card or deluxe pack for those that want to do both. Maybe do the same between conquest and showdown, same reward card or a deluxe pack.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I can never go 10-0 I think best I ever got was 7-0. Without a program br is the most useless mode in this game. I’d rather play mini seasons, diamond quest, conquest, events, hell even showdown with the unbearable menu lag. And well ranked is my go to but I never touch this mode as it’s where cheaters feast and I never profit without the program.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS yea that was a lot easier than it sounds/looks. It's not like you can't give up hits or runs, I made a couple errors purposely.

I think this is a great program, despite all the bugs and terrible dev work, I would like to give props to SDS for this program and definitely the TA program. Especially TA great to get 10, 15 and 20 packs these last few weeks organically. In my opinion great job on a program like this and TA. Keep these things going it’s much appreciated as someone who hates playing the cpu.

I think they envisioned the 75k stubs as kind of the equivalent of wheel spins in the innings programs, meaning that if you've earned Acuna then you basically completed the program. And everything after that is just a little extra that they tacked on so the elite players and hardcore grinders would still have something to do.

I agree with this. Its something I wish they did more on programs to give us a reason to use the cards more.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN yeah, there's not any good reason to play it without the program. Fully agree.

I do occasionally play, just cause I hate ranked. I have close to zero chance of winning ten, I've gotten to eight (and only to six without a loss)

It would be nice if there was more point to the whole thing than "money for the super-elite" - like, they probably dont need the money anyway!

I finished the June Countdown but hated every bit of the online play. Being forced to play ranked was not fun but I did peak at 600 rating which I will take since I don't play ranked hardly at all. It took me 4 to 6 hours to get the 5 victories in BR. I hope I never have to play that mode again!!!

Welp, Mission Acuna completed tonight- knocked out that last ranked win and the PxP with Supercharged cards in the same game. Maybe tomorrow after work I’ll see how far I can get with the “hard” missions.
