June countdown yikes

Wow! That's medium??? What could the hard ones be? No thanks to all of that.
-
At least all multiplayer/online cards are buyable on the market. If anything they are pushing people to play single player/offline conquest and mini seasons as that is the only way to earn those cards
-
I’m just glad you acknowledge that you read stuff. I think that’s all most people want.
More transparency and communication and you’ve been doing that of late.
Now request a raise and pay Dolenz
Also - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
Mirror your X posts on your own website so Dolenz can play the game
You got him playing community manager on this site and reddit because you won’t simply post updates to your own forums you post them on X or facebook.
So dumb

@SDS_JoeK_PSN Appreciate the response, however if you truly needed this feedback to understand how this program would be received in light of your "play your way" mantra, then it shows a severe disconnect between SDS and the community.
There have been many own goals from SDS this year, but at this point it feels like you guys can't get out of your own way and that's a real worry given the influx of games coming to take your player base.

Here is what I don't get about the "play how you want" complaints. How far should we take it? What if the only way I want to play is to do 1 moment per day. Should I be able to get every reward in the game by playing 1 moment per day?
It is actually very simple. A mission like get 3 k's in multiplayer could also have an alternate say even like 25 k's for offline.
Don't get me wrong, I would be totally fine with that. But what if someone doesn't want to do either of those things?
You get upset when people complain, but this is as toxic as any complaint all year. Pure disingenuous nonsense. Come on.
I don't get upset when people complain. Getting upset over a video game is never worth it to me. I'm not trying to be disingenuous. Just using an extreme example to make a point. The idea of "playing your way" is basically impossible, because there is always going to be someone out there who doesn't want to do something that is required to earn some rewards.
You were literally making up complaints to complain about yesterday tf you on about you aren’t disingenuous
The idea of “play your way” isn’t impossible, they just provided you with the solution which was implemented into this game for nearly a decade, then you doubled down on your disingenuous redundancies.
Nobody has ever said I want to get everything for doing nothing but stealing bases or only playing one daily mission. The complaint is always the exact. Don’t FORCE ONLINE or OFFLINE, give options for both. Whatever the option is works fine. You’re either too dumb to understand this yet complain about it every possible moment, or constantly disingenuous. It can’t be both.
I wasn't making up complaints to complain about. I was predicting what the complaints would end up being, and I was spot on with my prediction. People can complain all they want, I have no problem with it. Then sometimes I might offer my opinion to. That's how conversations work.
And I already said in my last reply to you that I would be totally fine with them giving options for both offline and online. But you conveniently ignored that for some reason.
-
Well anyone who wasn't convinced that SDS no longer cares about offline players with the weak content this year should be 100% convinced now. The simple fact that online players can unlock every player but offline players cannot is such BS when card collections are required as well.
-
@Ledfoot_19_PSN I’ll stop you right there - people who only play online cannot in fact earn every player (because quite a few are locked behind conquest, mini seasons, and showdowns)
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN and the new mini seasons missions take 3 seasons to earn all the cards.
-
Hey folks,
There's some really valuable feedback here that I've already begun sharing with the team. Keep it coming and please remember to stay respectful and on topic.
Thanks!
Thanks for the response

@Go4stros25_MLBTS there's only one card and its only 20k pxp. Thats 3-6 nine inning games.
-
Dang - -I cannot remember the last time SDS Mod or whatever they are came to a thread saying they heard us
I might not be happy right now but I give them points for that
-
Here is what they should have done going to use the first part or one of them as an example
2 SB online --- OR -- 10 SB's on rookie or higher
THEN in the next one INT section let's say there is another like 10 Hits in Multiplayer ---- 25 hits on Vet or above -- small grind but whatever
THEN if they want to allow offline players a chance at the HARD part -- let's say there is a mission for 12 HRs in online play ---- Make is 30 HR's on ALL STAR or above ---
these are just examples should prolly be a little harder or more but it's just a rough example
Something like this -- again NOT hard
-
“Play your way and earn progress” is the 2nd biggest lie they’ve told us …
we all know what the #1 lie is 🤏

-
It's just such a spectacular own goal from SDS to actively disenfranchise a portion of their already dwindling player base.
Why on earth would you do it? It literally makes no sense unless you're actively sabotaging it.
-
@Dolenz_PSN im mostly an offline player, everything you listed DOES suck, but theres still fun to be had online.
This thread is full of people who are mad that they are being asked to play online. The show has always been an online game.
Striking out 20 times and giving up HR's every time you throw a strike isn't fun to some.
There isn't any difference between a casual player that can't hit all star online to a competitive gamer that can't hit online legend. The competitive player isn't "forced" to play online legend.

Exactly

@rubicante23_PSN in as much as playing against stacked teams is how it trains you for multiplayer
I believe this.
I thought the same thing while playing some stacked rosters in Mural, and Cityscapes MS! I think i could 'hang' online, at least pitching-wise, and it made me bear down and work the corners more. If I didn't completely stink at baserunning in this game, or could get better PCI placement, I'd give multiplayer at try for sure. It's scary how my timing is almost always good, but placement issues are an issue.
I apologize for my previous post, SDS. It's just that we were told to stay tuned, and get the unwanted invite to multiplayer. -
Why cheat in a video game? THIS. This is EXACTLY why people cheat in a video game.
It's like they made this program just to reward them. And forcing the rest of us online into the cheater's den. It's already showing in Moonshot.
Wow!
Correct, basically this is SDS doubling down, won't fix the Hader/King glitches, won't fix the server issues, or the bots but hey here's a program where you need to play online and win (at least) 2 games against someone in RS... have fun against King/Hader.
O and you have 4 days to get it done.
Ridiculous SDS

@blitz77tw_PSN did you forget to apply for a job again this summer?

Just add offline missions with higher stat requirements and problem solved Joe. It’s as easy as that.
