Im restricted as well and I only flip common cards. Unbelievable. I dont use anything automated just click away at buy and sell. Time to move on from this game. Why even have the companion app if they want us to flip slow as in game

Then just flip in the game?

The restriction doesn't last anywhere near as long as people are making it sound. But if it's that bad, just flip in the game instead.

This is absolutely abysmal and trying to list in game is a joke because each card takes forever to do. This won't do anything to bots and only frustrates the community that uses the app when away from the console. This is an egregious step that is poorly executed and should be lifted effective immediately. It only hurts actual players while bots continue to gain

@JDHalfrack_PSN listing in game is significantly more tedious and miserable because each card has to be typed out. If you have thousands of cards to list, the app WAS outstanding, now its just stupid

Hence why bots exist. Ultimately, users are going to have to decide if having the app is worth it if they are dealing with bots. For if the one remains, so will the other.

I'm also starting to get on the "removing the marketplace from the app is the best solution" bandwagon, too.

@JDHalfrack_PSN 🤣 yeah thats fine I can move on and play other games. I enjoy it and when slow at work I'm able to help my stubs by moving cards ... I would never be able to get collections because I don't have time in front of my console like that and I know several other people like that too.

@greven840_PSN this is my argument, without the app I doubt collections are doable for me. But given what is happening, I think the app needs to go. Without the app due to my account restriction for last 5 days, I have barely made any transactions and also barely played game, killed my motivation.

@VOReason1976_XBL agreed so get rid of the Ludacris restrictions and continue to Crack down on bots. It didnt need changed to hurt the actual players just continue to police the bots out. There are ways to catch them and kick by using so man hours arent poured into it. But nerfing the app entirely I will just move onto other games, im good

Please, share all your wisdom on what SDS can do to stop the bots but not the humans? I'm very interested oh wise seer of engineering and software development.

@JDHalfrack_PSN they already have safeguards in place but they take awhile to confirm because they don't want to ban users flipping. A great example is several sites indicate a list of "flip cards" that have large margins, are moving quickly but also appear as mules, knowing that info the algorithm can pinpoint accounts abusing those time and again with significant success and those will absolutely display as bots and remove those. They're capable especially with all the data being run on their own servers. If you think a company run marketplace with no input from users will make the game more viable then more power to you, but that ruins the experience for many

@VOReason1976_XBL you can, it was poor action by SDS that bans actual users. There are blatant indicators that they aren't using. You unfortunately aren't the only one. But trying to remove the market entirely because theres a mistake is also missing the mark.

@VOReason1976_XBL and thats the marketplaces fault? No its the company with a flagged account that may be inaccurate. That's not a justifiable reason to eliminate it entirely, it should provide dialogue, development and advancement in metrics

@greven840_PSN then their algorithm needs improving and swift action taken in terms of humans getting banned.

They cant fix the app and clearly differentiate bots from humans

@greven840_PSN its not when they quite obviously cant differentiate between a bot and human.

This is actually a really bad way to discover bots. Large margins with large activity is the perfect place to buy/sell. In fact, I hate that SDS (if they do) or any site lists or uses them as potential bot activity. Those should be the cards people are actively looking for for making profit.

@VOReason1976_XBL that's what I just said lets read to understand not read to respond. There are workarounds to that issue and while mistakes do happen they could be easily addressed with a system in place

@JDHalfrack_PSN if you're unfamiliar then that's fine but they're never player cards. Its typically sounds, animations and bats that you know arent being sought after. So no SDS doesnt but other sites do and no you arent going to get massive margins on them because the bots just skip your bids. If you aren't aware of these options that's fine but I am pointing out those aren't impacting the general community in those instances.

@greven840_PSN ive just been told by Joe that I have to wait and there is no timeline for my ticket to be looked at. Just another thing that has been poorly implemented without a care as to who this might affect.
