You EVER going to FIX the BOTS in the market
-
There is evidence that they are trying. Multiple people have said that they were incorrectly restricted from using the app due to suspicions that they were botting. These restrictions are going back almost to the first week or two of the games release.
I doubt there is an easy way to distinguish between bots and players who are really dedicated and good at flipping. I also assume that 3rd party stub sales know exactly how to create new accounts as soon as one of theirs gets restricted.
The only thing I have seen people talk about helping is when the App itself has been down. So if there is any switch to be thrown to resolve the vast majority of the botting issues then it would be shutting down the app.
As much as it would be a pain in my assets if they ever shut down the app, it would be a good thing in the long run for the stability of the marketplace and for honest players that have no malicious intentions, that are really good at flipping and treat it as another mode to this game.

The marketing team doesn't smell money. So, no, SDS will not fix this.
-
Yeah they have restricted my account. Which my my math, on day 5, they have prevented me from making about 500k stubs. So they are clearly in no hurry to fix our accounts either

I am not sure how they would not see Bots, especially if they are from 3rd party stub sellers, as not being impactful to their own stub sales.

I usually try to stay positive about the game and in general I think a lot of the complainers go overboard, but on this one issue I gotta grab my pitchfork and join the angry mob. Bots in the market have gotten ridiculous and I really wish they'd do something about it. Flipping has been a frustrating experience this year.

Not just flipping, trying to buy cards for collections is an adventure too

I've sent them screenshots of it happening, place a order for 1050 bot puts it's order in for 1051, remove the order of 1050 and make it the normal 950, bot erases it's order and makes one of 951.... it's like they arnt even trying to get the cards anymore just block people from getting cards.

I don't even bother looking anymore, I put my order in and just leave it,come back in a couple hours(or the next day) and see what it's like.
If the amounts aren't to my liking I scan the list and pick an amount I want (buy or sell) and just leave it.
Less stressful/aggravating on me to not pay them any attention. -
The other day I did a Google search for 'how to beat the market bots in mlb the show 26' and their AI thing actually had some pretty helpful tips. I recommend everyone check that out and give it a shot.

Flipping had become a viable way to make stubs . Then in an attempts to fight the bots they restricted a bunch of people ‘s accounts. I put in a ticket on tuesday and replied to it once, very nicely. I wish they would make a statement at least. That is one my ultimate pet peeves. No communication.

I LOVE flipping cards -- learned that I could do it in The Show 24. But, I AGREE...it is MUCH harder to flip cards this year. You almost gotta have 3x the stubs it costs to get one card so that you can bid on it up to 3 times while waiting for one to hit. If BOTS are the problem, I'm all for setting restrictions. I noticed restrictions on buying more than 20 of the same card when I tried to get ahead of a bronze/silver upgrade of one of my favorite young players. I wasn't happy, but I totally get it.

This is exactly what’s happening. IF it mattered, there’s seemingly so many ways to identify and cut down on the bots. Sure there’s some aggressive flippers but it’s not even possible to sit on bids for multiple cards at the same time and beat or undercut new bids in a fraction of a second. Oh, some account makes a bid instantly anytime a bid on a certain card is made.. 24/7… that’s sus. The bots totally ruin the whole market part of the game and everybody is totally helpless against them. Pointless to even leave a bid because it just keeps bidding and undercutting. Not only is it nearly impossible to beat the bots, you’ll get banned for even trying to compete because the lousy outdated automated filters in place will flag your account.
So ya. It’s a waste of time to try and beat the bots and if you try, you’ll probably get your account restricted. It’s shameful.

I don't know if there are bots or not, but flipping margins are starting to get back to previous year's returns, so I don't really care.

I'm actually doing ok these past few days to be honest, now up to 200k on my Ohtani climb. If my recent success continues I may have him by next weekend. Fingers crossed the margins stay.

@DSquared80_PSN the cards that have good flipping margins are always the ones that have bots on them that undercut my sell order as soon as I place it. They also cancel their old sell order at the same time. The speed it happens, it can't not be bots
-
I must be lucky. I've flipped, in the past few days, from 20K to 350K.

The past few days have been great, other then the lag

I wish I had the patience to do that so I could get Simmons and Berkman

If he would have realized this, they wouldn't have fallen into the trap.(Referring to the pic not the post)

He realized it too late. Admiral Ackbar had some real rough luck.
