Event rules are so boring

The new event program is again that you can play with any legends and flashbacks - cant we be more creative? Thats like half of the binder!
Whenever we talk about how it would be cool to have a theme team or salary cap mode...or a mode that makes you use different cards...a bunch of people are like "thats what Events is!" But Events never gives you interesting or fun restrictions - its always just like "you can use 60 percent of the cards you have!"

Events, in the past (when they were running 24/7) used to have interesting restrictions. Now... not so much.
Just read the restrictions - "Live Series - Bronze and lower". I mean... they should have just said "Legends and Flashbacks".
Now... if they had an Event that was restricted only to "LS - Bronze and lower"... sign me up!

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN I was suggesting switching to a new team every day...making it narrow like that forces you to use some golds and cards way off the beaten path.
Its easy to forget this game plays way better with 84 overalls than 96 overalls

Now that I think about this... this event will simply mimic Ranked. I don't see many LS cards these days in Ranked. Ugh.

@rubicante23_PSN I’ve given up on these guys doing anything fun or creative. There are better ideas on this forum than these guys have ever come up with. This game is toast.

Yeah I enjoyed the way events used to be with different lineup's. All events are now is a place to rack up stats.

They used to be really different and unique. NL hitters vs AL pitchers or different age groups. They also used to have some where they’d set a team overall cap, so you’d have to get creative in building the team to maximize players. It’s all just cookie cutter now.

Need an Event with total ratings cap. Like all 26 of your player ratings need to add up to 2000 or less.

They came up with a bunch of ideas and ranked them silver to diamond then put them in a random wheel spin.

They should do an event where you have to use players that are parallel 0 still. Break the meta

They used to have "righty/righty" and "lefty/lefty" events. That'll fix it...

I miss the all bronze, all silvers, all golds, ALwest hitter vs NL west pitchers, all lefties, all righties, pre 2000 hitter vs post 2000 pitchers.
Overall this game used to be so much fun. Hell now we dont even have an event half the time and only 1 team affinity!!! Who made these decisions?
