<![CDATA[Event rules are so boring]]>The new event program is again that you can play with any legends and flashbacks - cant we be more creative? Thats like half of the binder!

Whenever we talk about how it would be cool to have a theme team or salary cap mode...or a mode that makes you use different cards...a bunch of people are like "thats what Events is!" But Events never gives you interesting or fun restrictions - its always just like "you can use 60 percent of the cards you have!"

I think the issue is that when they did those in the past a lot of people complained that they weren't able to use the cards they wanted to use, or needed to use for certain programs, so now its much wide open and generic.

Even though most people just loaded up the lowest rated cards on their bench and a couple bullpen spots. At least it was refreshing to see some different cards and lineup construction from time to time.

Went back and checked the "rewards".

3 standard packs, two deluxe choice and one "premier" choice. No rewinds. Not really sure how this is a "Vintage" program, other than the roster restrictions. Weird. And boring.

Overall this game used to be so much fun. Hell now we dont even have an event half the time and only 1 team affinity!!! Who made these decisions?

NL hitters vs AL pitchers or different age groups. They also used to have some where they’d set a team overall cap, so you’d have to get creative in building the team to maximize players. It’s all just cookie cutter now.

Now that I think about this... this event will simply mimic Ranked. I don't see many LS cards these days in Ranked. Ugh.

Its easy to forget this game plays way better with 84 overalls than 96 overalls

Events, in the past (when they were running 24/7) used to have interesting restrictions. Now... not so much.

Just read the restrictions - "Live Series - Bronze and lower". I mean... they should have just said "Legends and Flashbacks".

Now... if they had an Event that was restricted only to "LS - Bronze and lower"... sign me up!
