The community has spoken loud and clear. SDS will do something about the glitch cheat.

People have to understand that there are legal considerations. A company cannot be too quick in their response and risk making their problem worse. They know they have a large part of their consumer base that is upset but, believe it or not, even the cheaters have rights. That’s life in a democracy.

Sure, there are terms of service and all that but, from a legal standpoint, if something isn’t explicitly forbidden in those terms then it makes their response a little trickier.

They have lawyers that are thinking about every possible angle here before they make a decision.

They are also trying to figure out how to appease the angry customer base, I’m sure. But everyone should understand this now: you won’t be happy with what they decide.

Whether it’s free packs, free stubs, it doesn’t matter. A horrible thing happened and it cannot be erased. No solution is going to please everybody; it will always feel like the bad guys got away with one.

The legal team may conclude that punishment for exploiting this particular glitch isn’t feasible. But they will make amends to the community, it will fall short of pleasing most, and we will have to move on.

While I agree that expecting a response immediately after is unreasonable, I have doubts that they will do something.

If I were them I would make sure to post something by Thursday. Lets not show off another lame inning path with no big content drop before addressing the elephant in the room.

The devs on Friday's live stream are not responsible for the glitch, but they are responsible for the content structure and do themselves no favors with these streams.

While I agree that they may take a little longer to figure out what to do about the people who exploited the glitch I am not 100% convinced that they will do something meaningful.

I am convinced that no matter what action they take that it will be not enough for many and too much for some

Honestly, a no-sell Ohtani or Judge is the most level-headed idea that I've seen put out. Seems pretty fair to me.

Imagine if you finally saved up enough stubs to buy Ohtani just last week only for SDS to give everyone a free Ohtani.

Every person who bought Ohtani or Judge legitimately would be asking for Stub refunds, and rightfully so. Their two cards that they spent over a million stubs on are now duplicates and will have no market value since everyone already has one

Except it doesn't do anything for people that have completed the live series, or that aren't going after the live series.

The market damage is done, it just needs to be ensured the exploiters cant ruin future cards which means resetting their accounts if they wont ban them.

The compensation I would want is a heavy focus the next month or two on fixing the longstanding issues.

The only logical solution in my opinion is just to open it back up with the reward what it was every user can do it nobody has an advantage or disadvantage. If you don’t feel like doing it for your own morals you simply don’t. But at a minimum this years games already getting major backlash I don’t see many users putting there credit card in for stubs again this yr. Certainly not now. So minds well let every user do it and have every card in the game they want and end on a positive note. Just my opinion tho

The all due respect, thisnis the dumbest idea ever. So thousands of players cheated and gained thousands of stubs, so the solution is the give them the 2 most expensive cards for free as well?

how is it fair to people who have already bought the collection with either time or money? They just get double screwed?

The whole problem is that players earned the collection, or paid for it, and now a bunch of people cheated to get it for free. The solution isnt to give it to everyone.

Its a huge problem for the paying customers who paid for stubs. Action will be required. Nobody can deny this. Call us envious whatever word makes you glitches feel better. If i pay for something and you get the same thing for free, your [censored] right we are coming after you. And if sds doesnt go after you for the paying customers. The paying customers will absolutely go after sds. They know this. That's why I still think you are all getting banned. I dont think they have a choice. They may have to ban everyone who did it to prevent a lawsuit from the paying customers who purchased stubs. Well see what happens.

@maurice91932_PSN their lawyers aren't going to anything unless maybe the affiliated streamers signed a legal contract with them. Basically all they can do (but they won't) is ban the exploiters for breaking TOS.

To be honest, I don't even know what they can do to make this right.

I agree with what @dolenz_psn said earlier, whatever they do will either be too much or not enough. There is nothing they can do to make the whole community happy after this.

Unfortunately they won’t be doing anything and for everyone talking about Kyle I’m pretty sure he’s not getting banned (although I think he should be).Sds is so screwed they have no idea what to do. If you don’t band anyone and nothing comes of this then the majority of this community is giving up and leaving. If certain people get banned but creators like Kyle don’t then they also are screwed because they are picking and choosing for money purposes who to banned. I find it hilarious and so righteous that sds is going through this. This is the definition of shi**** where you eat and they deserve every ounce of criticism. This is like the scene from joker at the end where straight chaos ensue’s and catches on fire. It’s so poetic this is all happening because it’s literally all sds’s fault and they have no one to blame but themselves 🤣🤣🤣 no one is throwing them a life vest and we are all here to watch them sink and drown and it’s beautiful!!!!

The majority of this player base probably doesn’t even know it happened.

@genopolanco_PSN I doubt that. If you look at a high demand but easy to get cards like Santander, there were why 100k players to get him to p1?

There are over 200k on the reddit, and even more on X. I found out about the glitch from my son who doesnt have any socials or access to the web. One of his friends told him. If the 10 year olds know, I think its safe to say that the majority of player know about it.

@maurice91932_PSN this is well said sir! The most level headed statement I’ve seen. I’ve been saying this from the rip. They’re in a no win scenario. Another gentleman mentioned a No Sell Judge or Ohtani to this that didn’t partake. That actually makes a lot of sense to me. I’d take Judge as he is all I lack. Have a good day sir!

I'd Take Ohtani because it would at least give me a small chance of obtaining Pujols.

But lets be honest - that would be an absolutely crappy thing to do to everyone who grinded, flipped or bought their way to get either or both those cards legitimately.
