79% on legend
-
Won the game, didnt get the card. Makes it even better knowing that thousands of people got to abuse a cheat and got everything for free.
I understand the frustration. But you do understand that a 79% percent chance doesnt mean youre guaranteed to get the reward?

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN I swear I have 5 accounts with mafiaxx blocked. How many accounts fo you make?

Triggered?
How about instead of constantly complaining and threatening to stop complaining; you actually follow through on that threat?

100% agree…. but this mode should never ever be in a sports game like this ever. It takes over an hour to play this game mode if you complete everything and that’s time spent playing their stupid game. Why would I waste my time playing and not even be guaranteed the cards?? This isn’t a role playing dungeons and dragons game leave that sh** to that genre and focus on making online play enjoyable. This has to be the dumbest mode next to retro mode they’ve ever added. This mode has probably turned away so many players because it’s a gamble and chance based. I get it you take that risk by playing it but screw that it’s not worth being upset when you get 80% and end up getting bronze cards and a useless standard pack. It’s gross on how stupid they really think their player base is.
-
The mode itself isn’t a terrible idea. It there needs to be tweaks. I don’t remember who proposed the idea last year, but the easiest way to improve the mode is to increase the percentages every time you play a stadium and don’t get the card. After a while, the card becomes a guaranteed win, but you’d have to grind a little more perhaps. Something like that.
-
Agreed, the mode itself is fun...but it more or less feels like Conquest with Dice rolls. And if you don't get the reward at the end you've wasted your time.
Great idea, poor execution.
-
yeah I luckily was able to beat the CPU on GOAT difficulty for both stadiums and was at 100% so I got them both. Honestly I'm not the best player so was shocked that I beat them straight up not the bunting way.
-
The mode needs more depth - like, it should be a realistic board game with real strategy. Like, the zone eater could trap you and move unpredictably. There could be way more interesting spaces with interesting effects. The showdowns are so easy - I know they need the game to be playable for everyone, but you could put some options in so that more experienced players have a reason to be challenged.
Conquest is the same. Its just rinse and repeat - no strategy. If you're gonna make a board game, then make it a real board game!

The extreme conquest map is usually interesting at least.
But Ive said it before, DQ is a terrible attempt at a roguelike. Every run is the same, there is no progression and/or gained knowledge from failed runs.
-
I've run through the "Vintage" DQ twice. I successfully completed every challenge. I went into the Stadium games with a minimum 55% chance to win the card (All-Star). Per my math, that's a 95.9% chance of getting at least one card by playing 4 games.
I got none. I get it. It's not 100%, but frustrating.
But... unlike some others... (not my BFF's here on the forum)... I wouldn't cheat to get it if there was a cheat available. I EARN MY CARDS. Maybe I'm stupid...
P.S. If thousands (ten of thousands? hundreds of thousands?) of extra packs were ripped this weekend by the "glitchers", I thought Ohtani and Judge might come down a bit. Nope.
-
@MarioMendoza935_XBL I play the games on legend and ive played the vintage diamond quest enough times to make around 700k. The highest percentage ive had on legend difficulty was 82%. Thats with beating every challenge. Ive also had less than 70% chance in legend. Its all random, you have to hope for the 5% more than the 3%. Ive also had the game freeze in multiple stadium games which is the ultimate FU.
-
In my experience, the percentages are actually pretty accurate. I'm not good enough to win at the higher difficulty levels, but after six or seven attempts playing on all star with an average chance of 45-50% I came away with three cards.
-
DQ and Conquest are both really boring. But you cant complain that its too hard to earn stubs - if you wanna play DQ all day, you'll earn stubs.

I disagree I think DQ was an awesome add. Problem is that yes NOW in 26 it doesn't seem as rewarding. In 25 you could run straight to the stadium in about 5 minutes play the game on HoF and have 50-60%. This meant you could actually play about 4-5 DQ maps in an hour and usually get 2-4 rewards. Now you play the whole map plus sweeper and only have a 76% on legend. Unless you use the bunt "glitch" cheese method on GOAT. That's where I think SDS has once again in 26 fallen off the deep end in the stick it to players area.

No he blocked someone that’s been BANNED on this forum over 10 different times going back to minersvillemafia years ago but keeps making new accounts as much as he needs to hear his own voice lol.

Should I start paying rent or is it still ok to kerp living rent-free in your head?

This could easily be why you believe it. I’ve missed both cards on a 85/95% back to back.. Maybe Jd the resident math expert will do the math for you and show you that’s less than 1% of 1% of 1 fkn percent. Not once ALL YEAR have I got both rewards when it’s above 80% which is still the more likely outcome than anything else.
If you could win on legend every game with the highest odds you’d more than likely stop believing the odds are real.
People will watch THOUSANDS of packs get scammed from SDS on a game that can’t compute odds in specific modes, modes that will give you Ls for Ws, Menus that take 10 minutes to draft 5 players, players that then end up in your jerseys on the wrong team…but die on the hill that the odds in DQ are the only part of this game that was implemented perfectly. They aren’t.

I literally have a mathematics degree…
Why the random shots fired?
