MLB The Show Club / EASHL Style Co-Op Idea
-
I’d love to see MLB The Show create a true Club mode similar to NHL CHEL/EASHL. Let friends create a permanent team with logos, uniforms, standings, seasons, playoffs, and championships.
Current co-op feels like random pickup games. A lot of us want long-term progression with our squad — build chemistry, earn rewards, make playoff runs, and win championships together. This could be Diamond Dynasty Club Seasons or an Online Club mode.
I really think this would keep groups of friends playing all year instead of just hopping on for random co-op games.

This would be sick…

This would be awesome...but let's face it: SDS can't even handle 1 to 1 connections for Ranked 90% of the time...now imagine them trying to balance the connections of up to 18 players at once.

Please keep anything CHEL adjacent away from the show. Two wrongs don't make a right.

@thrillho709_PSN bro what’s wrong with chel? I find they do woc very well.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN lack of market and people love to abuse certain things. It’s still a fun game tho

I've thought about this many times myself, as an EASHL player since NHL '12.
I think it would be hard to pull off, but I think EA can, if they were ever in a position to make MLB games again. I wish they would, as i loved the Triple Play series from them. -
This gets brought up every year and all the “I block all incoming messages, friend requests, invites and haven’t talked to anyone online for 12 years because I play the CPU on rookie 5 hours a day” get angry at the idea of having fun with friends while playing baseball.
I still hope they do it but I have no faith they could ever pull it off. RTTS still has a AI voiceover for like the 5th year in a row. They truly do not care anymore about quality.

I love Chel, play on a top 200 club...but the past two or three three years- this iteration in particular has driven us to other games. It just hasn't been fun, that's all.
