Locking them in is more than one card. Essentially it means getting also their team collection card and more than likely division card also. But I agree I am not paying that many stubs for the cards and would most likely sell ohtani if he’s 600k stubs or more.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN not capping them while capping card limits shows you what they truly want: for you to buy stubs. It doesn’t matter what they say, look at what they have done.

Lots of packs will be opened today which generally brings prices down, but lots of stubs will also be made from the roster update. Hard to say. My guess is they go up in the short term, a day or 2, and then go down some. Wait for a flash sale.

Ohtani and Judge should be capped at 500k. I think it would make majority of player base happy.
It would make them impossible to acquire and there would be a 1,000+ waiting list for the max price.

I think this is spot on. They go up in the short term and then back down.

That isn’t what happened last year. They spike then plateau, but not as far down as before the RU.

I could be wrong, but there is usually a spike in the market with the influx of stubs from investments people have made. Roster updates are great to make stubs but it causes inflation. Obviously if they drop some flash sales or live diamond packs in the inning program that will throw things off. As others have said finish live series by getting the most expensive first and then worry about everything else after. LS unlocks the rest of the game and then build the team how you want it.

@mubby_33_PSN 20 card max will probably effect this maybe not completely but a significant hit.

Their prices going up after the roster update hopefully shows SDS they need to go back to having a stub cap on live series players like in past years. Ohtani being 800-900k is a joke, judge being 600k is worse.

They don’t care about the player base. 100% not filling out another survey, SDS does not care. We are all saying the same stuff and sharing the same displeasures and they a knowledge nothing.

Yeah Ohtani up to about 750K as of 5:30 EST. Judge around 515K. Bonkers.

@Rubbaneck34_XBL that’s my mindset as well. Would rather spend 1.2 million stubs on a bunch players I like than on 2 I’ll hardly use.

Yep, screw live series. They can manipulate it all they want and they have made it unaffordable and unattainable for 95% of the player base or more. I refuse to spend stubs on any more live series cards. Absolutely ridiculous no matter how you slice it.

It is always funny to me how the live series is the most absurdly priced thing, but there's pretty much no usable cards from the live series after about a month of the game being out. Between roster updates refusing to drop the overall of the gatekeeper cards and no cap on stubs it is clear SDS only cares about milking as much money in stub purchases as possible for those whales that spend 1000-2000 to make sure they can immediately complete the live series.

I would never bother with Live Series, but I run a Rockies theme team and absolutely need to get that Tulo.

@Busta-21_XBL yeah live series judge and Ohtani are unusable at this point. If u buy them it’s strictly for collections so I’m mind blown there prices continue to go up.

@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL they probably won’t the bats been in the game for years it’s just a flared knob model b45 makes. May I say an amazing wood bat tho for anybody here who plays. Definitely up there for my favourite model I’ve ever used but my last bat I used before I quit my victus j-rod show is hands down my favourite ball comes different off victus.

It would be nice if they at least made the live series division rewards usable for longer. The only usable division cards are Pederoi and Anibel Sanchez right now. Only two cards keeping up with the power creep 2 months in. Oh and campenella and Ramirez. Four total cards besides the main collection cards.
