I won't be able to complete 2nd inning in time
-
I don’t buy them per se. I’m still missing 12 live series high diamonds and I’m not buying them with real money. Usually I would put some money in early to help get kick started until flipping becomes viable. I was able to collect every card in the game for 21-25 but this year I’m likely abandoning that goal. My pack pulls have been terrible and I’m tired of being nickel and dimed on rewards and XP in this year’s game.
-
All I meant was I feel like online players don’t care about most cards in the game. They just want the meta cards to leverage the built in game mechanics. The only exceptions are content creators so they can “debut” the new card.
Offline players like me tend to like the collecting aspect of the game and focus less on meta players. Just my own opinion and what I’ve seen in the forums and thru playing this game for many years.

I was able to finish it pretty easily by just completing the programs and playing normally. Definitely slower than the 1st inning but I got the boss last weekend and have had I think 3 or 4 wheel spins so far.
-
I need 10000 xp with 1 day to go. Everything has been done. Any ideas how I might get it?
There's a program dropping today, might have what you need.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS How many TA did you finish in the first inning?
-
@GoozeFn_PSN All of them. Thats why the 1st inning was definitely faster.
EDIT: I should add I mean I finished the regular TA paths, not the #1 fan stuff or whatever its called. I don't even look at those and not trying to complete them.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS Yeah, that’s what I meant. The #1 fan stuff doesn’t have any xp in it.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN Oh haha, see I didn't even know the #1 fan stuff had no XP, thats how much I have looked at them.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS You should look at it though. Lots of free packs.

Hopefully a lot because it seems many of us are in the same boat. I’m only at 335,000 myself and the progress has been painfully slow.
I'm at 380,000 and I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm really doubtful. I've been going through TA and getting up to the 4500 XP reward before going to the next one. Really scraping the bottom of the pan for the XP here
-
@palmerjones_PSN Hough, 15,000 xp. It may help me but idk how much. I'll have to go to work shortly so can't grind it now

Only 20k XP in the Witt program which isn't enough to get me to 500k (first time ever) so I'll just do something else tonight and save that for the weekend.

I know that the very last inning program will let us earn the bosses later... hopefully I'll have enough stubs saved up to get the other one when that happens. If I can't reach the boss this inning.
First time ever I haven't been able to complete an inning program. Man.

Here's the problem with the "YoU jUsT hAvE tO gRiNd" argument. I am playing the same amount I did last year. I completed every Inning program including many wheel spins last year. They also had much more offline content last year. Yet this year I have yet to finish an Inning program, and am going to be short on this one as well. You want to stand on a pedestal and have us worship you that you are the greatest gamer of all time because YOU finished the program but the rest of us aren't worthy and it should only be awarded to GREAT gamers like you, have fun with the delusion dude. Here's the facts though, the more of us disappointed with content, not finishing innings and getting rewards, the more of us SKIP buying this game next year.

Play online. It’s a huge chunk of XP. I do both and have no problem. I only game at night once my wife and 2 kids go to sleep. I work as well. It can be done. Suck it up and do online.
-
I have about 144k to go. I've accepted that this year I likely won't see any of the bosses this year unless they actually add good chunks of XP and change up the inning paths
-
I had to play three Mini Seasons of 3 innings for 7 games each to get the xp needed for 500K. I typically save Mini Seasons and Conquest for the end of the year so I have stuff to do in the winter but they forced my hand this time. I even played online and it was down to the last minute for this inning.

They shouldn't have to suck it up though man. Have a bit of empathy and think about what you use this game for. Unwinding after a tough day working and being a Dad. I enjoy mindlessly beating the computer sometimes on rookie because I find it relaxing and after my kids go to bed, my eyes are tired honestly. There's no reason the boss pack can't be at 300k or so. This was literally the toughest inning I've seen and offline content is way down and it seems like the thought is just grind short mini seasons and I'm personally doing that but it's not worth xp after the first time. Point is, people shouldn't have to suck up playing a way they don't want to when they never used to. It's a change to drive profitability without much of anything coming back to the user base in terms of improvements.

@Thongypu_PSN This game used to be play your way. They used to talk about grind 99. That game is dead.
